Carina Lau In Marc Jacobs – Louis Vuitton Commerical Event

Carina Lau attended a commercial event hosted by Louis Vuitton in Hong Kong, China on Saturday evening.

The actress surprised me by wearing a Marc Jacobs Spring 2013 look.

Usually when a brand hosts an event, especially in Asia, the celebrity wears that brand. While designed by the same designer, it’s still an usual move.

Her 60s-inspired black-gold-and-white short-sleeved dress with a squared top half and striped panelled skirt with sheer inserts is the shorter version of the same look which took to the runway.

Carina’s styling makes this look feel very pedestrian. The sassy vibe the look had on the runway is made to look quite conservative with her black accessories and centre-parted ‘do, which is probably the look she was going for.
