Cristiana Capotondi attended ‘The Zero Theorem’ Venice Film Festival premiere held at the Palazzo del Cinema in Venice, Italy yesterday evening.

The Italian actress wore a Valentino Resort 2014 strapless multi-macramé bouquet strapless gown – there couldn’t have been a more perfect way to inject some vitality onto this red carpet.

Her scene-stealing gown was simply styled with a selection of silver bracelets and neutral makeup to complement the earthy vibe of her gown.

    I love this really much.
I’m really loving the fact that she is letting the dress do all the talking.

    Perfect!

I am not feeling this print…

Flawless! I love it from head to toe. She looks like a breath of fresh air. BDOTW-worthy.

      I agree.

Perhaps I am overly critical but there is something missing here. The dress is beautiful enough but I am not wowed and she(like most of the attendees this year)looks like bored. There is a lack of confidence in this picture.

Oh same here ! I love the prints, but she isn’t breathing life into it! Like she herself is bored!

I agree. I think with the right accessories and hairstyle, this look would’ve been elevated. Her stance and facial expression also go against her in this pic.

Until I looked at some of the closeup photos, I wasn’t too impressed by the gown, but it’s so colorful up close that her styling makes perfect sense. This is a wonderful end-of-summer gown and she looks beautiful.

I agree–looking at additional photos helped me to like this look and her styling. I think a brighter clutch and maybe a thin gold belt would have helped to elevate this look just a little–make it a tad more sophisticated. Imagine what Diane Krueger would have done with this dress!

I totally agree re: Diane Kruger.

She looks stunning, I love it. Finally something which we can get excited about!

I’m not excited about it much but it’s nice, just wish she had put more effort into styling, hers is a bit too plain and lackluster.

      I agree.

Such a shame she’s not selling the dress… what a beautiful print.

She looks lovely, the dress looks lovely, but it gives me the instant “Off to a day at the beach” vibe.

It’s a really lovely print, Hard to pull off, and she almost does. But I agree, her styling is so lackluster. I have to say, I’m glad she tried something different, though.
