Dakota Fanning In Viktor & Rolf – Terrazza Maserati

Dakota Fanning In Viktor & Rolf - Terrazza Maserati

Following her ‘Night Moves’ photocall and premiere on Saturday, Dakota Fanning was spotted at Terrazza Maserati in Venice, Italy on Sunday.

Even after our pleas for at least a ponytail, the actress kept her familiar hair and makeup styling while wearing a Viktor & Rolf Resort 2014 black halter jumpsuit featuring a satin trim and bow detail at the neckline.

If there was ever a look which would’ve benefited from her hair being up, this was it.

Christian Louboutin ‘Au Hameau’ PVC peep-toe heels with a black swirl detail were the perfect accessories to lift her look, which is sadly hampered by the lighting, which doesn’t show up all the detail on this jumpsuit.

Such a shame her hair is ALWAYS the same. This is a great look fashion-wise.

    Lovely.

I wish the jumpsuit was less baggy. This bothers me even more than the hair this time. What a great look if only it had been more fitted.

My thoughts exactly, although the hair still bothers me too. I am starting to think her hair is a security blanket of sorts. I think sometimes girls, if they feel insecure, they kind of use their hair to hide behind. That may not be the case, and I’m not trying to project that onto her, but it’s just been my observation based hypothesis. Lol. Anyway, I love the shoes, and oh how I wish she would have carried the ‘flower bomb’ clutch.

Well said. I really like the shoes, they go well with the jumpsuit. I agree that a different hair style would have been better generally, but the look has more of a relaxed vibe to it, so I don’t mind it as much as say for the Elie Saab.

I agree about the hair. This is a much more relaxed event, and so the hair does not bother me as much as it normally would. That being said, I think Dakota gets a lot of flack for being essentially a teenager, who’s favoring “a look” at the moment. Hopefully, she grows out of it, otherwise, we’ll just have another Gweneth P on our hands.

Agree with you on everything. And I LOVE the shoes.

I feel pain every time I see her hair.

The hair should’ve REALLY been up this time. I like the rest.
