Autumn is almost upon us. The biggest indicators of that are the cooling temperatures and the shift of celebs from wearing summery frocks to dresses in darker hues and heavier fabrics.

On the Fall 2013 runway we saw leather dresses showcased at Reem Acra, Balmain, Dior, Michael Kors and Anthony Vaccarello; a trend I hope will translate onto the red carpet.

Serena Williams kick-started the leather dresses trend early at the end of last month wearing a Narciso Rodriguez leather v-neck dress on Letterman, which was the perfect season-transitional look.
