Francesca Cavallin In Barbara Casasola – ‘Tracks’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Francesca Cavallin In Barbara Casasola - 'Tracks' Venice Film Festival Premiere

Francesca Cavallin glided down the red carpet yesterday evening for the ‘Tracks’ Venice Film Festival premiere held at the Palazzo del Cinema in Venice, Italy.

The Italian actress selected a two-tone Barbara Casasola Fall 2013 frock, with a lavender front featuring a sheer organza insert and neckline, and a dramatic deep-aubergine back which she complemented with a matching lip colour.

While I like her hair up with this look, the style itself feels a tad matronly.

The look was completed with a Stark black clutch accented with gold hardware.

BDOTW worthy?

I find this quite stunning. Her attitude seals the deal for me!

She looks beautiful and regal. BDOTW contender

I don’t like how the hair frames her face and I’m not yet sure about the turtleneck. Other than that, quite fetching.

The hair and makeup is awful.

I agree, so it’s not BDOTW worthy.

No, not good, it is just like a costume.
I’m thinking Queen Padmé Amidla in Star Wars (actrice Nahalie Porman)

Hmmmm. A wide to the waist plunge plus a choker plus an empire waist-high band detail. A look that constricts and reveals, causing the wearer to look blocky through the torso in the process imo. Quite the design trick. I’ll pass.

I think this would have worked better without the collar. The hair’s not great either.

A blt matronly indeed, but she made me love this look nonetheless.

The hair ruins the look. Everything else looks lovely.

Defininely worth of being a BDOTW contender!
Loved the dress and makeup&hair! Stunning!

This dress reminds of of the one Sonam Kapoor wore by the same designer, but yet it’s different in a distinctive way. I love it, even the hairstyle. http://www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com/2013/07/08/sonam-kapoor-in-barbara-casasola-bhaag-milkha-bhaag-gala-screening/

The dress is off and I blame the strange neck collar. If that were sheer too, this look would be improved.

The hairstyle is a tad matronly from the front indeed, the dark lip is a bit too harsh, neither suits her, but the look is fabulous, loving the sharp contemporary dual-color drama, the silhouette is lean and sleek, the sheer insert is subtle and doesn’t cross the line into the vulgar territory on her, I can overlook not a very flattering hair/makeup, BDOTW worthy.

Hmmm…I’m not totally on board with this look–not BDOTW wise, at least. Though, there are things about it that I like-the color, the silhouette. But the hair, the collar, and the top smushing her chest are all problems keeping me from loving it.
