Emmy Rossum In Moschino Cheap and Chic & RED Valentino – ‘Kitchen Revelry’ Cookbook Release Party

Emmy Rossum In Moschino Cheap and Chic & RED Valentino - ‘Kitchen Revelry’ Cookbook Release Party

Emmy Rossum joined Jamie Chung in celebrating Ali Larter’s new cookbook, ‘Kitchen Revelry’, at Sunset Tower in West Hollywood, California on Tuesday.

The pretty brunette – who always scores many points in the style stakes as she puts everything together herself – wore a black-and-white look consisting of a Moschino Cheap and Chic beaded sweater coordinated with a RED Valentino A-line playful skirt with a sweet white scalloped trim at the waist.

A Rebecca Minkoff mirrored octagon clutch and black pumps completed the season-transitional look.

Do you love the playfulness of the look, or do you find it too twee for the actress?

I don’t really like this look. It’s not awful but it’s not really working.
Although her hair and her make up are great !

I like it, but it is heavy for August in LA in my opinion. Why rush the season!

Yes, a little black tank top would have been better for August. And I don’t think it’s possible for Emmy to wear anything too twee as she is practically the definition of the word.

I love all these pieces and wish I had them in my closet! This look is very cute and well put together. I wouldn’t have minded red pumps though…

I feel like she would be a great brand ambassador for Kate Spade – she seems to be carrying off their type of aesthetic pretty well :)

      Agreed!

    Don’t care for the skirt.

It looks like she is wearing a dress other than two separates. I love this look. Emmy can do no wrong in my eyes.

Agreed. These pieces work together brilliantly, and she’s just so dang pretty!

I like hair and make up, but this is a rare Emmy miss for me.

Looking at it longer, I have to say I like how skirt and clutch work together. The applications on the top are too heavy for me still. Someone else might have gotten a pass on this day look, but I’m used to fresh and intelligent from Emmy and, while this look is okay, I don’t see either in it.

She looks good and the top and the skirt are perfect together. The only thing I’m missing is a pop of color (the lips aren’t enough)…this is too dark a look for the bright Emmy.
