Anna Wintour In Lanvin – Moet & Chandon’s 270th Anniversary Party

Anna Wintour In Lanvin - Moet & Chandon's 270th Anniversary Party

Anna Wintour indulged in her second passion – tennis – while attending Moet & Chandon’s 270th anniversary party, which also served as the unveiling of Roger Federer as their new global brand ambassador, held at Chelsea Piers Sports Center in New York City.

The Vogue editor-in-chief wore a Lanvin Fall 2013 fuchsia sleeveless (of course) dress with black rose appliqués and a swishy skirt, which was styled with all her usual accessories.

Beaded necklace – check. Manolo Blahnik kitten heels – check.

Having given us a rare sighting of a clutch on her last red carpet appearance, it was back to being hands free on this occasion.

Roger Federer provided the arm candy.

Does anyone else hear Whiteshake’s or Bob Marley’s “Is This Love?” when looking at the final picture below?

You can buy Anna’s Lanvin dress from Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.

Agree! Her consistently boring shoes are awful.

I love Lanvin, love Anna Wintour, love her boring shoes and love her “alwaysthere” necklace. Thumbs up!

We give “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” passes to a bunch of folk, so why not Anna. She looks great here, and her accessories don’t clash with, or try to overwhelm the print of the dress.

      I agree!

“Does anyone else hear Whiteshake’s or Bob Marley’s “Is This Love?” when looking at the final picture below?” – LOL. :D I do!

    Heres to you Mrs Robinson!
But she looks great. I love the dress

  5. Lee Ann August 21, 2013 at 17:45 #

Ps Given the love feast she probably should have worn the runway necklace

I really enjoy the dress on her, and the necklace is fine. But can someone let a dog loose on those kitten heels? They deserve to meet the demise of a well-loved chew toy.

      I could not agree more!!!

    • dee August 22, 2013 at 18:56 #

      LOL, I agree.

I love the dress on Anna. It’s a pretty surprising choice but it works, and I prefer her styling over the runway’s (although I enjoy the whole punky-tacky vibe) and the lookbook’s.

Yawn. It’s a pretty dress, but so predictable.

  9. Rachael August 21, 2013 at 20:29 #

God Roger Federer is a fine looking man.

You know what I see? I see Anna better watch her printed Fall 2013 Lanvin dress back. There is a Mrs. Federer and her name first name ain’t Anna.

  11. Christine August 22, 2013 at 02:11 #

Like the dress but the same ol styling.

  12. Markness August 22, 2013 at 04:09 #

I forgot where I read it, but it’s either Grace Coddington who said Anna has a crush on Roger Federer. I wouldn’t blame her. ;)

Haha would’ve been something to talk about since she’s twice the age of him, but then anna looks great so what not
