Following her ethereal look at the ‘Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon’ press conference on Thursday, Angelababy dialled up the glamour on Sunday while taking to the red carpet for the 13th Chinese Film Media Awards held at Quanzhou Strait Sports Center in Quanzhou, China.
The actress is stunning from every angle wearing an Alice + Olivia strapless red-and-black ‘Kassandra’ embroidered silk-chiffon gown with vivid blooms and a full-skirted silhouette.
A simple updo and bold red lips were only the start of her impeccably styled look, as she added a gold metal belt, statement earrings and a Louis Vuitton ruby-stoned gold hardware clutch to her BDOTW-worthy look.
Which look do you prefer? This striking, entrancing Alice + Olivia gown, or the soft vanilla Elie Saab gown?

She took an already ornate dress and made it even more spectacular with the addition of the gold belt and earrings. Simply stunning.
I prefer this over Elie Saab’s one. I think it looks more interesting on her.
This is simply perfection!! BDOTW!! and possibly will be in my BDOTY list !
I really love this look as well and how much range she’s got. But if I have to choose, I’d go with the Elie Saab one.
The dress is ok but I really like the styling.
Wow, so gorgeous!
+1
Definitely this one. She looks so good in these colors.
Elie Saab for the win!!! This is pretty enough-kind of think the think gold belt is a bit much, maybe black would’ve been better? Idk. But this is a little bit déjà vu. Wouldn’t be my BDOTW.
THIS of the two easily for me. Love the intensity of the red-and-black embroidery, makes her Elie Saab look bland. Glad she added the belt, with her impeccable styling a strong BDOTW contender.
This is perfection. Stunning!
This is a stunning gown, the pattern is lovely. It works really great with her pale skin tone. This is far superior to anything Elie Saab has made in the last years.
BTOTW contender for sure.
Well that’s very much open for debate.
She looks stunning in both looks : yin and yang.
This one is the best! The addition of the belt is georgeous. BTOTW!
I agree with Nat on the Elie Saab –I am so over the long sheer skirt over the panties or shorter skirt. This is exquisite, classy and beautifully styled. This is also the perfect length–how unusual!
I’m loving this look! The Elie Saab was gorgeous too, but this is the one I’m drooling over!
I prefer the Alice+Olivia look than the Elie Saab. I am tired of that kinda of dress it is already boring and dated. This one she looks better than the model
The Elie Saab. This gives me a feeling of deja-vu even though I don’t know why.
It makes me think of the black with red floral Michael Kors that Stacy Keibler and an Asian star, can’t remember whom, wore not too long ago.
I’m guessing Devon last year also in stunning red and black Alice+Olivia gown (loved that one too) http://redcfa.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/Devon-Aoki-In-Alice-+-Olivia-–-2012-CFDA-Fashion-Awards.jpg
I think it has something to do with her Alexander McQueen dress – the same silhouette, the metalic belt… Although this look is much better.
I won’t even try to pick a favourite, I love them both! The addition of the belt is ingenious. I’m undecided on the clutch and therefore would probably choose the Elie Saab after all as I wouldn’t change a single thing about the latter, but they are both great looks!
