Olivia Palermo In Tibi – Mykonos Vacation

Olivia Palermo In Tibi - Mykonos Vacation

Olivia Palermo was leading the fashion pack, which included her boyfriend, model Johannes Huebl, and Valentino Garavani as they explored the Greek island of Mykonos on Thursday.

The socialite wore a summer-chic look from the Tibi Resort 2013 collection mixed with some colourful accessories which enhanced her look.

A haltered bright-orange top was paired with black-and-white variegated striped high-waisted comfy knit shorts, but the magic really happens with the studded belt, Pretty Ballerinas print flats and wrap-around necklace with the neon-yellow and pink tassels.

The look was completed with Westward Leaning shades and her trusty Gerard Darel ‘Woodstock’ 24-Hour raffia bag.

Should she have taken one thing off, or does the look work perfectly as she’s presented it?

She needs to lose the necklace, it doesn’t go with the rest of the look.

IMO she should’ve taken both the necklace and the belt off. The outfit as presented on the look book is perfect just as it is.

I agree with the other comments. All the things that she added, and I would also include the flats in this, take away more from the look than they add to it.

The lookbook look is a bit bare. She’s on vacation! Nothing can be wrong. She looks good though shades are outdated to me

Exactly because she’s on vacation she doesn’t need to put too much thinking on what she’s wearing which is not what an over accessorized look portrays. In my opinion she should’ve been after relaxed and laid back outfits not “busy” ones.
Regarding the bareness of the look book ensemble, I think her ballerinas gave all the fuzz the piece needed making the belt and necklace unnecessary.

This is one too many accessories. She needs to lose the belt and necklace.

Love it! Could maybe do without the necklace and belt, though.

The lookbook version is very basic, I like the addition of the belt, that necklace is too much however – it does nothing but overpower and look awkwardly out of place.

      Agree. Belt, yes! Necklace, no.

    Love: belt, bag, sunnies
Leave: necklace, ballet flats (swap for simple sandals)
    = Lovely!

Oh, and I meant to add that I think Valentino is upstaging her…Dude is stylin’!! :-)

The more important question is why we are still calling Olivia Palermo a socialite and why we’re still reporting on her fashion choices. The belt and the necklace are obvi too much together. It should have been a one or the other. And why that bag? Why?
