Alex Gerrard Celebrates Steven Gerrard’s Testimonial

Alex Gerrard Celebrates Steven Gerrard's Testimonial

To celebrate 15 years at Liverpool Football Club, Steven Gerrard, aka Stevie G, was honoured with a testimonial match against Olympiacos followed by a Gala Dinner held at the Liverpool Echo Arena on Saturday.

Alex was, of course, on hand to support her husband, arriving at the match surprisingly not wearing Balmain.

Instead, she wore a laidback look consisting of the very popular Isabel Marant ‘Maryloe’ mankolam-paisley jersey dress, as worn by Emma Roberts and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, styled with Isabel Marant ‘Memphis’ booties (worn by everyone including Emmanuelle Alt, Kate Moss and Miranda Kerr) and a black Givenchy ‘Pandora’ bag.

For the dinner she scrubbed up rather nicely, wearing a beautiful printed strapless Versace gown with a central slit styled with a black clutch with gold hardware, black sandals with gold accents, a chunky gold cuff, perfectly coiffed tresses, a red mani-pedi and a not-so-orange tan.

I love Gerrard, so was busy just checking him 😀
And ya, Rosie wore it like infinite times better and looked so sexier !

PS: Btw, I was just wondering why are the faces of the girls blurred :O

I feel like we just saw that gear print on someone in a shorter dress form, but it may not have been the same. Anyway, I think the two little girls upstage her, personally.

I know–Mena Suvari! But alas, they’re not exactly the same….

I do love Steven Gerrard and Liverpool! I wish it was August 17th already because I am beyond ready for football to come back(although the majority of people I know could care less as football, or rather soccer, isn’t that popular in the US).
I’ve never been a huge fan of Alex’s style, although I do love both looks. The Isabel Marant dress is my favorite.

Although her dress looks good, I can’t get past her demon eyes. Is she being possessed by the singer Jewel?

The first dress has now been well tested and is fine, Rosie takes the cake for me too though. The second look is too WAG-y for me.

    The gown is Versace.

    • Catherine Kallon August 5, 2013 at 15:40 #

I asked Versace and they said it isn’t Versace

      • Maria August 5, 2013 at 15:47 #

You’re kidding! They use that print…

        • Magdalena August 5, 2013 at 20:38 #

It’s quite popular print, you know.

So you were right, she tweeted it was Versace. When I ask the Versace PR they said it wasn’t. Maybe they didn’t want the association.

The gown is not by Versace ready-to-wear. It’s by Versace Collection

I find it so impressive that you figure out 99.9% of the labels, and if not, you make it your mission to. Et voilĂ ! You did it once again. Knew we could count on you!

I LOL’d at that… not sure I’d want the association either! Although she does look great in it.

she looks like paris hilton. is that a compliment?

Aaand… the wearer makes the clothes. That Isabel Marant dress was fabulous on Rosie!

Oooh I was hoping you would solve the mystery of who is the designer of the dress, thought she looked fab.

    • Catherine Kallon August 5, 2013 at 18:52 #

      I looked everywhere

      • Puccini August 6, 2013 at 19:33 #

RFA you’re the only one able to find out the brand of almost every gown. As a fan of Versace I can recognize this gown: it’s by Versace Collection(not Versace preready-to-wear)as Mena Suvari’s short dress.
