Aisha Tyler In Tadashi Shoji – 2013 Do Something Awards

Aisha Tyler In Tadashi Shoji - 2013 Do Something Awards

Aisha Tyler attended VH1′s 2013 Do Something Awards held at Avalon in Hollywood, California, yesterday evening joining Sophia Bush and Jennifer Hudson.

The ‘Archer’ actress wore a dress from the Tadashi Shoji 30th Anniversary Capsule collection.

Her strapless ivory tiered silk dress was kinda let down by the styling as I’m not a fan of the oversized beige clutch, plus I find the red lips and pink manicure jarring.

Shoes and bag are not working. The clutch is too big and business-like and the shoes are boring. The dress looks great on her.

I love the dress and it looks great on her but, yes, the styling is a huge letdown. Too bad. This could have been fantastic.

I like the bag and the dress. I don’t like the shoes, hair, and makeup.

The dress itself is well fitted and not an entirely bad choice, however, as others have pointed out, it’s let down by the uninspired styling. In addition, the weave/wig she’s wearing isn’t sitting well, so it’s giving her a “cone-head”, which was even more evident on television.

Overall, this is not a good look, Aisha can do and has done much better.

Yeah! I thought something looked odd. I really like the dress on her, but she ruined it with the styling.
