Shailene Woodley In Apiece Apart – ‘The Spectacular Now’ New York Screening

Shailene Woodley In Apiece Apart - 'The Spectacular Now' New York Screening

Following in a long line of midriff-exposing starlets, Shailene Woodley jumped on the trend at ‘The Spectacular Now’ screening, hosted at The Crow’s Nest last Friday in Montauk, New York.

The actress selected a creamy two-piece top and skirt from Apiece Apart’s Fall 2013 collection paired with neutrally hued Jimmy Choo ‘Jada’ sandals.

This look had the potential to be fresh and youthful, but it was screaming for different styling—and an accessory or two. The black hair band around her wrist didn’t count.

Those glossy, long waves managed to weigh down this particular ensemble, also hiding the slit detail of the top. All I wanted to do was take that hair band and give this girl a ponytail.

She does get points for that vibrant fuchsia lippie.

Her hair completely overpowers this clean simple look, should’ve been pulled back, not liking it much but could live with the rest.

She never really excites me in terms of her fashion choices and again, I am feeling underwhelmed by this look.

exactly. she has no sense of style. I also do not like this lighter hair color or maybe I just dont like how messy it looks. All that money and you cannot afford a proper hairstylist?

  3. Mandy

I love her hair but it really needed to be up and away to make this look work. A colourful shoe or bracelet would have elevated the look.

I agree with everything that’s already been said. She could do so much better. Young, talented, thin, beautiful, wealthy. But poorly dressed? It just doesn’t make sense.

I don’t like this hair colour on her, or the style for this look. Major miss, the fit is off, this outfit does nothing for her.
