Tilda Swinton In Valentino Couture – ‘Snowpiercer’ Seoul Premiere

Tilda Swinton In Valentino Couture – ‘Snowpiercer’ Premiere

Like Angelina Jolie, Tilda Swinton was back out on the red carpet this evening in South Korea, for the Seoul premiere of her latest movie, ‘Snowpiercer’, following the press conference earlier in the day.

She selected yet another look from the Valentino Fall 2013 Couture collection, this time wearing a dress with a short train, a loose, oriental-inspired silhouette, and enchanting pencilled pattern which included a lion’s head.

Once again it’s a tricky look, with a unique silhouette that not many could pull off, but like a chameleon, Tilda is able to adapt to suit any style.

The train might be bothersome to some, but the dress wouldn’t have had such a regal air without it.

Keeping the nude pumps from earlier in the day, Tilda also opted for the same minimalist styling.

Many of you weren’t too enamoured by Tilda’s previous look, some stating that the colour washed her out, so how does this fare?

I prefer this look. She would have looked better with a bold lipcolor because this too washes her out.

Yes I agree some lipstick or blk shoes or oxblood lips and shoes will do. Can she be a redhead?!

I prefer this look. Love how hair stylist switches the hair up. never boring

  3. Janani July 29, 2013 at 17:52 #

I love this look – she looks amazing. The train really adds to the look

I like this look. She looks otherworldly, like a lion personified.

I love it. It’s unique, interesting, exotic, loving the oriental vibe. The colour doesn’t bother me and the train makes this look even more special, she carries it off really well. Big thumbs up from me.

This one.. It’s something only she can wear and look great!!!
Btw this instantly reminded me of her Narnia look :-D

So true! I cannot take away or add anything to your comment. It’s exactly how I feel too.

I thought the very same thing too! Tilda is never same-y, and God love her for it! I think this is a great collection for her. So glad to see her pulling it off–like magic!

      +1! Absolutely

It is an interesting dress…but I just can’t get there with her most of the time.

Uniquely weird. On anyone else it would look terrible. She has almost inhuman beauty.

Great! And love dresses on her instead of just pants!

  10. Prudence July 29, 2013 at 19:41 #

    EQUALLY WASHED OUT.

Tilda’s washed out androgynous look isn’t usually one of my favorites, but on first glance, I really liked this dress. When I realized it had a train and was not a short dress with a longer coat, not so much. She does have great legs, though, and should show them more often.

Loved this look. She has amazing legs.

  13. Christine July 30, 2013 at 04:03 #

    Stunning! GORGEOUS!

  14. Dhppy July 30, 2013 at 04:41 #

Oooh, I adore this. Wonderful! She seems born to this style.

  15. Alina July 30, 2013 at 05:04 #

This isn’t my favourite look. At all.

  16. Denise July 30, 2013 at 08:04 #

Much improved. Has somekind of shape,at least it makes her look like a woman. The colour washes her out, some lipstick would have been nice. The print is very interesting though.

I like both of her Valentino looks but only on her.
