Get the Look: Rose Byrne’s ‘Blue Jasmine’ Textured Summer Updo

Get the Look Rose Byrne’s Textured Summer Updo

Rose Bryne walked the red carpet for the ‘Blue Jasmine’ LA premiere looking the very picture of summer. So we went to her hairstylist Richard Marin and got the full details on how to recreate the look on your own hair.

First, Marin sprayed Rose’s wet hair with L’anza Healing Smooth Thermal Defense Heat Styler and then blow dryed it with a Remington TIStudio Silk Ceramic Ionic AC Professional Hair Dryer to ensure her hair was protected from the heat and frizz-free.

Next, Marin took a ¾ inch curling iron and curled every other section of Rose’s hair–by using her own texture along with the curled waves, Marin had a multi-textured look to work with.

Then, Marin took Oribe Rough Luxury Molding Wax and ran it through the hair to break up the curls and blend the textures together.

Next, he dragged the hair into a high ponytail and fastened it at the crown with a Blax hair band. Next, he bobby pinned the hair into a loose bun, and finally, finished the look by spraying Rene Furterer Huile D’été Protectrice Protective Summer Oil to add shine, tame flyaways and give a carefree summer effect.
