Ginnifer Goodwin In Derek Lam - 'Once Upon A Time' Press Line - Comic Con 2013

Ginnifer Goodwin joined co-star Jennifer Morrison at the ‘Once Upon A Time’ press line at Comic-Con 2013, hosted on Saturday at the San Diego Bayfront Hotel in California.

The pixie-perfect actress took her Snow-White role quite literally with this Derek Lam Resort 2014 tunic dress; one that will no doubt be plenty divisive with its apron-like quality.

The stark, deep V-neck design, with oversized pockets on each side, floated around Ginnifer’s frame. Its breezy looseness carried with it some measure of intrigue, but ultimately seemed out of place at Comic-Con.

She did add a bit of structure with her strict, grey pumps, whilst radiant desert-hued makeup created some warmth.

Trend-forward or too tent-like?

I just don’t get her style. She rarely is a hit for me and this isn’t one of those times.

This dress doesn’t flatter her at all. A miss for me.

  3. Yeliz July 22, 2013 at 11:34 #

    This is too shapeless.

This is a breezy, summer dress for a hot day. I like the way it is styled on the model with the flat sandals. It is a very relaxed dress and shouldn’t be seen anywhere near those grey pumps.

+1. Perfect easy breezy, white summer dress that cries out for sandals. Love the dress though and its perfect for the event.

+2. You nailed it. I love this dress, but sandals would have been so much better.

Sandals people sandals. I don’t like the dress.

    Unflattering

Great for a hot day. Looks comfortable. But those shoes have got to go! A sandal would have been preferred.

This is a great summer dress, but it just swamps Ginnifer. It looks good on the runway so maybe it’s a dress that has to move and doesn’t do well standing still. The gray pumps make the outfit too matronly for Snow White.

I’m reading the recent posts upside down, so this is ANOTHER baggy outfit for her. No to that. I think only someone very feminine looking might, just might, have made this work.

Aw, I always like her style. I agree the shoes are wrong–she should have worn sandals–but I adore this dress. I’d wear it in a heartbeat. In fact, going now to look for it…
