The actress managed to simultaneously blend in and boldly stand out with her Paper London Spring 2013 on-trend cropped top and high-waisted, A-line shorts, featuring a black-and-white, basket-weave print.

The ensemble looks like it could have been made for the classic, newsprint-like Comic-Con logo.

Bright metallic blue nails provided a super-gal pop, but she did soften her styling with wavy locks and a petal-pink pout, along with a few Palladium jewels.

Now, if only she had opted for the lookbook’s funky yellow-and-black sandals, rather than Brian Atwood’s ‘Hamper’ black platform pumps, this would’ve had Comic-Con written all over it.

Wished she wore better shoes. Otherwise OK look

      I agree.

The pumps look so heavy, I don’t like them at all. The rest of her look is nice, I like the shorts.

Those shoes ruined an otherwise interesting look.

What a disappointing, missed opportunity. She could have opted for the far superior (to her shoes) lookbook sandals, and would have been not only perfectly ‘on theme’, but also a BDOTW contender.

A pop of color via shoes would’ve been great, it’s so dull otherwise, that patch of black fabric bothers me, not a fan of this look.

    I loved her hair.

Ah, these hooves are killing me every time. Any, any!, other shoes, especially those splashed with some colour, would have been better, the ones from the lookbook would have been a great start.

She looks adorable from the ankles up! Too bad she opted for those heavy black platform pumps. This is still my favourite look from SDCC.

I really loved this cute little look! I do wish she’s chosen a less heavy shoe. Even a Pigalle or a So Kate Loub would have been preferable
