The actress packed on the pastels with her Philosophy Spring 2013 ensemble that mixed together an abstract, floral-print bustier with a patchwork, purple-and-green pencil skirt, inspired by men’s ties.

The styling of these ultra-femme separates was not the fairytale I wanted it to be. The striped skirt was a letdown, as it was several inches too long, and the Saint Laurent cream ‘Tribtoo’ pumps were far too blunt.

A fishtail version of the braided updo trend, with face-framing tendrils, threw in a twee curveball. Still, I am far more enchanted if I just focus on the look from the waist up.

I dislike the shoes and I agree that the skirt should’ve been shorter. She looks lovely from the waist up.

The shoes are too bulky, the creases are distracting, the hairstyle is too cutesy for her, and the overall feel of the pastel florals/stripes (esp. in this length) is somewhat mumsy-suburban. That being said, she is still fresh and charming.

Lol! Lol! I can’t stop. Lol! I don’t know if you intended for that statement to be, but it just struck me so funny!:-)

I agree, this look is a letdown. I only like the top.

I really, really loved this collection when presented on the runway, so I am super excited to see it on the RC. However, I too, am let down by the length and the shoes. From the knees up, it is so lovely. All she had to do, as we see time and again, is hem it, and wear more feminine shoes.

She looks like a waitress from the 50s.

I don’t like anything about this look.

I like the skirt and top, but the shoes are a downer and I HATE her hair. First, she looks bad as a blond–always has. And the Heidi look with the braids rarely works and certainly doesn’t here.

I would have liked this is the bustier had been on top, making it the same length as the model’s. Then the proportions would have worked.

White pumps are one thing, but white hooves are always a no go. I also find the colors and hair too twee.
