Vera Farmiga In Viktor & Rolf – ‘The Conjuring’ LA Premiere

Vera Farmiga In Viktor & Rolf - 'The Conjuring' LA Premiere

Vera Farmiga attended the LA premiere for ‘The Conjuring’ held at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

This is our second Viktor & Rolf look from last night, following Kristen Wiig; however, Vera’s less summery look was from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection.

Vera has worn a lot of black lately so I am not particularly surprised by her choice to wear this black sleeveless v-neck gown with a printed jacquard skirt – in fact, I am quite taken by the drama of the exquisite piece and how perfectly in tune it is for a horror movie premiere.

My issue is the hair as I wish it was more lovingly coiffed. Her makeup, on the other hand, is flawless, with soft smoky eyes and nude lips completing her look.

This is a great dress and I love the simple styling. The hair could have been better though.

I like the bottom half of the dress as there are more black than beige. Overall a very stunning dress.

The gown looks great on her. The makeup is flawless, I agree. I don’t think that blonde hair suits her though.

I like the drama of the skirt.

    Really like the make-up.

I don’t like her hair color and I don’t like the outfit.

I thought I was going to be the only one…I’m so surprised that people like this. NOT fan of anything here.

I really like it overall, including the hair (in general, i admit that maybe they’re not the best choice w/ an evening gown). She’s usually wearing aging looks so this is a very welcome change

Not a bad choice for a horror movie premiere I guess.

She looks stunning. And the dress is characteristically mysterious. I love the bottom half of the dress.

She isn’t carrying this gown well, lacking poise and natural elegance, the hairstyle is way off, the makeup is too bland and pale, she looks washed out, and I’m not a big fan of the design to begin with.

      …dull, chunky and dreary.

I don’t quite like it. I find the fitting weird. Plus the top feels very matronly specially when combined with a skirt sitting that high.
She needed some cool and edgy accessories and a better styled hair to prevent the look from feeling matronly.

Meh … I think she’s borderline “I don’t care for fashion” more than the “au natural” cool. I wish she’d glam up a bit, b/c she’s a talented actress and I hope she’ll adapt to gain more commercial success. She first caught my attention with her tiny role in “15 Minutes,” which was before “The Departed” and “Up in the Air.” She’s beautiful. Would like to see her more on the red carpet.
