Rita Ora In Vionnet Demi-Couture – Yahoo! Wireless Festival

Rita Ora In Vionnet Demi-Couture - Yahoo! Wireless Festival

Rita Ora was a surprise guest during Snoop Lion’s set on Day 1 of the Yahoo! Wireless Festival held at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London on Friday. The British singer and the hip-hop icon performed their dancehall collaboration ‘Torn Apart’ before a crowd of 50,000.

After her performance, Rita Ora posted this image of herself on Instagram wearing a Vionnet Demi-Couture Spring 2013 green laser metallic cage dress, which was worn with a nude bodysuit.

The eccentric singer styled her look with silver Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps and black sunglasses – and, of course, the ever-present red lip colour.

This is a perfect performance look: it’s eye-catching, it allows for plenty of movement, plus I love the futuristic vibe.

    TDF look for her.

    • KatieKate

And I bet Snoop likes it, as she kind of looks like a big pot leaf.

  • Nat39

Love it, she is totally selling it.

  • julyol1972

Actually really like this on her too. The color is great and the freedom of movement it affords is nice to see. However, “hip-hop icon”? Uh, no!!!

  • towanda

    i can’t stand her.

  • towanda

    rihanna wana be

  • kane

The colour in the photo had me for a moment, but un-instagrammed as in the video I don’t even like the colour.

  • Christine

    Not liking this.

  • dee

    This is awful.

  • Jolene

I really like it. And also like the idea of women covering it a bit. I am sooo tired of ” on your face” sexiness.

  • Lei

I really dislike it! I very rarely like anything she wears! She just comes across way to tried-hard!

  • Yeliz

This is too shapeless for my tastes.

  • june

can i ask what demi-couture is? i’ve never heard that being used before.

    • Jolene

“We figured out how to make the dresses more affordable but use the same couture techniques,” she said. Through eliminating “the endless fittings” and selling by size with a single fitting at the end, Goga and co. have shaved one of the zeros off the end of current couture prices; the pieces will go from $10,000 to $30,000, rather than the hundreds of thousands of dollars that true made-to-measure creations can sell for at other houses.

  • I actually really like this on her, usually her style is hit or miss but this works for her on and off stage
