Hayley Atwell In Julien Macdonald – ‘The World’s End’ World Premiere

Hayley Atwell In Julien Macdonald - ‘The World’s End’ World Premiere

Hayley Atwell joined Rosamund Pike on the red carpet for the world premiere of ‘The World’s End’ held at the Empire Leicester Square in London yesterday evening.

I have to say I was a bit shocked by Hayley choice to wear this Julien Macdonald Fall 2013 sheer embellished gown which just reads attention-grabbing upstage-attempt.

The whole thing lacks class. She’s better than this.

      Beyond tacky. Very Vegas showgirl

      Wow, yeah.

This is cheap looking and ill fitted.

I don’t like the look, but I completely disagree with it being that bad. I think you’re being a little harsh. It’s only sheer in the cleavage area which isn’t that revealing. She isnt even showing half as much skin as Rosie Huntington Whitley did yesterday in the white Calvin Klein, which was a lot less classy than this.

Agree with everything. Not a great look, but definitely not as tacky as Rosie.

      I agree.

The dress is a lot tighter on her across the hips and thighs then in the model, and the resultant obvious outlines certainly verge on tacky. The visible underwear effect is not flattering either. Add that to the plunging, key hole neckline and it all flashes, “Look at me!”

I don’t get what y’all are talking about, she looks sexy and beautiful!

I didn’t even see her on the red carpet? Surely if she was trying to upstage she would have arrived earlier and worked the red carpet no? Looks stunning though, love the pearls!

Perhaps if Rosamund Pike had made more of an effort to her own premiere she wouldn’t have been upstaged. Maybe they coordinated flashing their bras and pants!

Love your humour ! Apart from the pants showing I think she looks good.

No, no and no, very unflattering

  9. Rebecca Z July 11, 2013 at 14:54 #

    Just, no.

I completely agree with FC! This dress is extremely revealing from behind–it has a very low, sheer panel in the back, and you can pretty much see her underwear in the back, as well.

Why oh why did she choose to wear tight black grandma underwear?? She should at least worn nude. She is clearly thin but it just looks bad. This dress is better suited for a model type anyway.

I am kind of 50/50: While it does seem inappropriate for the event, (she’s not the main star, way overdressed, total wrong season), it doesn’t seem that scandalous in comparison to other, worse displays. I don’t love it but there are things about it that I like.
