L’Oreal ‘Collection Privee by Color Riche’ Ad Campaign

L'Oreal 'Collection Privee by Color Riche' Ad Campaign

Actresses Freida Pinto, Julianne Moore, Jane Fonda, Fan Bingbing and Eva Longoria pose with models Liya Kebede, Inès de La Fressange and Doutzen Kroes for L’Oreal’s ‘Collection Privee by Color Riche’ campaign.

Captured by Norman Jean Roy, this must have been taken during Cannes Film Festival when all the ladies were providing the eye candy on the carpet while fulfilling their ambassadorial roles.

Sadly Sonam Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are not featured in this ad.

The women all wore black dresses, or black blouses and skirts for the shoot.

While it’s hard to identify most, the one which stands out is Fan Bingbing in her Ulyana Sergeenko Couture gown thanks to the distinctive neckline.

Update: Doutzen is wearing a Gucci Spring 2006 gown.

All of these women are stunning, and incredibly beautiful!

  2. dee July 9, 2013 at 19:08 #

I would have loved if Sonam and Aishwarya were in this photo. I like it anyway.

    • Yeliz July 9, 2013 at 20:13 #

      Ditto.

  3. POPGLAM July 9, 2013 at 19:09 #

    and leah michelle ?

    • Catherine Kallon July 9, 2013 at 21:21 #

      She wasn’t at Cannes

  4. Anj July 9, 2013 at 19:13 #

Fan Bingbing’s skin stands out because there’s so much of it at the center of the picture. Honestly, Julianne Moore stands out the most for me as does Jane Fonda & Wendie Malick. The whole right side of this ad is completely forgotten for me.

    • KatieKate July 9, 2013 at 19:34 #

I think you have mistaken Wendy Malick for Ines de la Fressange.

      • Anj July 9, 2013 at 21:36 #

Wow, my mistake! I was wondering why she was in the ad although she is a beautiful woman in her own right. They do look very similar here.

        • KatieKate July 10, 2013 at 02:03 #

Yes, I agree Wendy is beautiful too.

These women make excellent L’Oreal ambassadors. They are all so beautiful and culturally and generationally varied, demonstrating that beauty is also vast and varied. Indeed, this photo was likely taken at Cannes when all the ladies were last together. I love Son am Aishwarya also, but wonder if that might have been just too many people to fit the frame as well??

    • Ruth July 9, 2013 at 20:05 #

While it’s nice to see some different skin colors, I would hardly say this is varied. They’re all thin with no differences in body weight or muscle mass, all but one has long hair, all the models have the standardized Western beauty features, such as narrow noses.

      • lola July 13, 2013 at 00:12 #

I 100% agree!! There is variation, but there could have been so much more.

  6. Lyvm July 9, 2013 at 20:18 #

Julianne Moore positively radiates most in this whole photo.

  7. GiGi July 9, 2013 at 20:36 #

Do you suppose any of them actually use Color Riche on their hair?

    • iloveclothesnshoes July 9, 2013 at 21:27 #

      I would bet none!!

  8. rashmi July 9, 2013 at 21:27 #

Julianne Moore jumps out at me! the other one i like is Freida! I am so bored of Fan Bingbing although she does look pretty

  9. SkirtTheIssue July 9, 2013 at 22:57 #

    No Megan Gale?

  10. Lauren July 10, 2013 at 00:12 #

I think the reason why Sonam, Aish Rai weren’t included is because they have one of each in the photo.

One Indian, one latina, one ebony, one blonde, one over 50, one Asian one European, one red head.

  11. Sharon July 10, 2013 at 01:23 #

    No dark skin tones :(

    • Catherine Kallon July 10, 2013 at 10:13 #

Can’t you see Liya Kebede in the picture?

What would you call her skin tone? Because I would say she is dark.

      • lola July 13, 2013 at 00:14 #

She is dark, but I would have loved to have seen an even darker skin tone.

      • Dhppy July 16, 2013 at 20:27 #

I wouldn’t think of Liya Kebede dark toned. I think of Oluchi Onweagba or Ajuma Nasenyana when I think of dark skinned models.

  12. Dhppy July 10, 2013 at 03:04 #

I’ve always adored Inès de La Fressange because she shows how one can be chic in flats.

  13. Christine July 10, 2013 at 03:35 #

    Nice photo of diversity

  14. kane July 10, 2013 at 06:01 #

This lacks life for me, which is only emphasised by all the outfits they could save for the next funeral.

  15. Ivette July 10, 2013 at 08:07 #

    No Cheryl Cole?? lol

  16. Leo July 10, 2013 at 14:37 #

Your guess ir right, it was taken during Cannes, but not all ladies were there at the same time. Jane Fonda blogged about it a while ago, check out her post there. http://janefonda.com/cannes-2013/

    • KatieKate July 11, 2013 at 03:31 #

Interesting. I knew they often did photos that way, but figured since they were all together, they would’ve done it at once.

  17. Pri July 10, 2013 at 16:10 #

I guess they were going for those Vanity Fair type portraits you see in the Hollywood issue, shot by Annie Leibovitz.

But I don’t like the picture, the lighting seems off, it is too dark.

I think Sonam, Ash and Cheryl weren’t included as they’re more regional ambassadors. You can see their ads in their countries, the UK and India, but not usually internationally. Ash used to have international L’Oreal ads though.

    • lola July 13, 2013 at 00:18 #

I also don’t care much for the photo. I wish some of their heads were tilted a little bit more towards the camera. You can especially tale that they did not shoot the portrait together.

I think doutzen is wearing this gucci dress spring 2006
