Jennifer Hawkins In Toni Maticevski – Australia’s Next Top Model Season 8 Launch

Jennifer Hawkins In Toni Maticevski - Australia's Next Top Model Season 8 Launch

Jennifer Hawkins was back to work two day after her honeymoon yesterday evening to launch Season 8 of Australia’s Next Top Model, which was held at Doltone House in Sydney.

The newlywed showed off her fresh tan, wearing an orange-and-black Toni Maticevski cocktail dress with an asymmetrical neckline.

I’m not crazy about the styling. The cuff works; however, the shoes are tres boring and the clutch doesn’t complement any part of her look.

While I love the dress, I have a feeling some of you will be put off by the orange dress and orange glow.

Am I right? Should she have opted for a neutral-coloured dress to showcase her tan?

The tan is the actual problem for me. Real or not, she looks orange and completely tacktastic. It’s a shame, because this dress is really quite an amazing piece. It deserved better than this.

I like the dress from the front but from the side and everything else isn’t really working.

      I agree.

I agree with all the above: the accessories, the tan and the side view, hmmmmm

I am honestly in love with this look: the tan suits her because she looks like the quintessential beach girl and the orange of the dress just looks utterly stunning against it.
    I adore it.

I’m so delighted to see a Macedonian designer on the red carpet! I love the dress, but why did she had to overtan!?

I may be against the trend here but I find that orange is actually complementing her golden skin. I like that.

I loved the dress. She definitely make it work despite the styling

I really like the dress but it needed someone with presence to pull it off. If Kate Blanchett had worn this we would be drooling right now, because her elegant carriage and styling, would have contrasted beautifully with the complexity of the gown. Plus, she most likely have scrapped her hair away from her face and off her shoulders so we could appreciate the details more. This is definitely a case of right dress, wrong person.
