Pace Wu In Lanvin – Lancôme Show by Alber Elbaz Party

Pace Wu In Lanvin - Lancôme Show by Alber Elbaz Party

Following the Bulgari event earlier in the evening, Pace Wu arrived at the ‘Lancôme Show by Alber Elbaz’ party held at Le Trianon in Paris, France yesterday evening a totally different woman.

A woman with shorter hair – but fear not, the brown cropped ‘do is a wig. I really love this wig-wearing trend, also embraced by Fan Bingbing, Ciara and Zhang Ziyi during Cannes.

Pace selected a dress designed by the host, wearing a beautiful nude sculpted-ruffle one-shoulder design which sumptuously heightens the appeal of the draped cocktail dress.

Nude Jimmy Choo ‘Cosmic’ pumps and a wooden clutch completed her look.

You may remember that Kerry Washington wore this same dress to a Tod’s event back in May.

It’s gonna be hard to pick a Queen of Couture Week: Miroslava Duma or Pace Wu. Who has been working the front row and party circuit the best for you?

She looks good. I like her styling here compared to Kerry.

For me,pace is always a winner coz she is not afraid to try new stuff, and in this case, the wig. She managed to have pulled off two totally different looks in the same day,it seems like she is having so much fun with fashion and what I love the MOST.

The dress is beautiful and I like the clutch, but the shoes are a snoozefest and I don’t like the wig.

Miroslava Duma is my favorite, not that I haven’t enjoyed seeing Pace as well.

Pace looks wonderful..working the outfit..she just glows..I like the wig….bravery would be an actual haircut, but I dig the trend!!!

Pace wins both fashion stand offs for me. I’ve really only liked one of Miroslava’s looks without reservations. As for this look, the shoes are just as bla as were Kerry’s, but I adore how the dress flows. If I scroll her shoes out of the frame, I’m head over… you know, the things I can’t see anymore.

this is the same dress as the amazing Kerry Wahington http://www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com/2013/06/12/kerry-washingtons-lanvin-one-shoulder-satin-dress/
the dress is TDF and both ladies look amazing
the shoes could be better though

What a complete change from her earlier look!
    She looks great.

Miroslava and Pace are certainly the 2 best candidates for Queen of Couture Week. Right now I’m inclined toward Pace as her looks have been more varied.

BTW, speaking of wigs, don’t forget Nicole Kidman’s red bob in the Jimmy Choo promotion. That was the best one I’ve seen.

Pace looks so gorgeous. I am digging the wig trend too–why not have fun with a hair wardrobe, just like a fashion wardrobe?! I do agree that the shoes could and should be better, though.

Flawless! I LOVE the wig, so chic
