Anne Keothanvong In Antonio Berardi – Pre-Wimbledon Party

Anne Keothanvong In Antonio Berardi - Pre-Wimbledon Party

Unlike the rest of the tennis stars who took to the red carpet for the annual pre-Wimbledon party held at Kensington Roof Gardens in London yesterday evening, Anne Keothavong wore a full-length dress for the occasion.

While A-list Hollywood stars are already wearing pieces from the Resort 2014 collection, the tennis star proves that there are many great unworn pieces from the Resort 2013 collections, selecting a tri-colour Antonio Berardi gown in blue, neon yellow and white.

Cut this at the knee and give her a tennis racket and she would be good to go, such is the sporty feel of this bold-hued gown.

Hate to say it, as she looks amazing, but I’m missing the belt.

I totally agree, love this sporty vibe this gown gives and she looks great, but I’m missing the belt too.

I agree about the belt, but I must say that this dress is very beautiful, I love the colors.

    How stunning does she look!!!!
Missing the belt too, but even without it, she looks great!!

I don t like it. The sporty top clashes with the boring bottom. It s an ugly dress and the belt saved it on the model but Anne doesn t pull it off. The bad stature and too long bottom don t help either.

    * Sorry, meant pose, not stature.

Shame about the belt and the length (a bit too long). But I still like this look.

I agree this needs the belt, but she looks lovely all the same.

    This look needs the belt.

The absence of the belt is not the only issue I have with this look. Hair and makeup are quite poor and uninspired and I detest how exaggerated long the skirt is. From the fitting of the dress to the styling and accessories it all looks better on the model.

Her posture is bad. I think the belt was needed here.

I am missing the belt too.

I agree about the belt. The look is great but the belt would have made it even better.

This look desperately needs that belt to pull it together. Her hair is kinda sad looking too.

Oh no!!!! I absolutely love this dress and was super stoked to see it on the RC, alas this fails me, and all b/c of one seemingly innocuous detail: a belt!! But it truly made all the difference. Who knew a well-placed beltvcould be the difference between life and death for a dress!

I don’t like the colors together, or the dress itself very much…her forward leaning posture and the missing belt aren’t helping it imo.
