Ana Ivanovic In Matthew Williamson – Pre-Wimbledon Party

Ana Ivanovic In Matthew Williamson - Pre-Wimbledon Party

Like Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams, Ana Ivanovic selected a great British brand for her red carpet look for the annual pre-Wimbledon party held at Kensington Roof Gardens in London.

The 25-year-old Serbian tennis ace wore a Matthew Williamson ethnic-inspired printed mini dress from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection.

Not only is the dress bursting with colour, but it also features ornate beaded and embroidered embellishments.

Sticking with yet another London-based designer, she handled a Stella McCartney ‘Falabella’ clutch, opting to cross the channel for her teal-green Christian Louboutin suede pumps.

Side-swept wavy tresses completed her look.

+1. And to my surprise, I don’t miss the belt here — it might have been one detail too many.

She’s stunning. The dress is nice but not my cup of tea. However, I love the teal of the shoes and in her eye makeup (you can see it in the close ups).

Love this look! I think Matthew Williamson is so under-worn by the masses. I actually don’t miss the belt at all; the beading stands on its own and the silhouette of the dress doesn’t need it. Good accessories, too.

I do agree with others about the hair, though.

Thankfully, I don’t miss the belt here nearly as much as with the Berardi. This looks great H2T!

The belt would have been too much, I think. I like it, but not with the already busy dress. A thin plain belt would have perfected this. However, overall I love this look–my favorite from the event so far!
