Victoria Pendleton In Paul Smith – Ladies Day Royal Ascot

Victoria Pendleton In Paul Smith - Ladies Day Royal Ascot

Considering the grey skies and the downpour we had in England earlier today, I am not surprised that Victoria Pendleton attended Royal Ascot on Ladies’ Day, held at Ascot Racecourse, wearing autumnal colours.

Her festive Paul Smith black-green-and-red abstract-print fit-and-flare dress was accented with a patent-leather belt and topped off with an obligatory Philip Treacy hat in a red hue, which really lifts the look along with her bold red lip colour.

Had it not been for the hat, I may have missed this look altogether.

Quite lovely, H2T, and usually I don’t care for a red and green color scheme b/c it makes me think of Christmas, but not here. This looks perfect.

I love it — and I agree that the hat makes the whole outfit work. I actually like the simple black pumps here because the dress and hat make enough of a statement.
