Naya Rivera In Naeem Khan - InStyle Celebrates The Launch of Elizabeth And James Fall 2013 Handbag Collection

Naya Rivera celebrated the launch of the Elizabeth and James Fall 2013 Handbag Collection at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood yesterday evening.

The ‘Glee’ star wore a Naeem Khan Pre-Fall 2013 forest-green silk short-sleeved dress featuring a v-back and rolled neckline, which was decorated with gold metallic starburst beadwork. She styled the dress with sparkling gold pumps and matching jewels.

I’m sure you will agree with me that this look is much improved over the MuchMusic Awards; however, the high neckline gives the look a back-to-front feel.

Flawless makeup and a sexy topknot completed her look.

The neckline is awkward. Also, I don’t think this dress is meant to be so short or so tight. Not a win for me.

    It’s okay.
With the heavy topknot, the high neckline, and her rather long face (hairline to tip of chin,) the effect is top heavy.
Also, as Anj (above) said, the dress appears to be too tight. It lacks the drape of the runway version.

I think that for the high neckline to work, she needed to keep the slightly longer length. It would have balanced out the look without losing the sexiness. I adore her pumps and hair and makeup with this look though!

Preferred it on the model–it’s too short and tight here. I like her hair and the shoes, but I think the neckline’s a bit constrictive.
