Amy Adams In Dolce & Gabbana - 'Man of Steel' Taormina Filmfest 2013 Premiere

Amy Adams attended the ‘Man of Steel’ premiere which opened the Taormina Filmfest 2013 at Teatro Antico in Taormina, Italy on Saturday.

After wearing black for the photocall, she opted to wear a white Dolce & Gabbana strapless textured frock with white lace embroidery, which was styled with butterscotch-coloured pumps.

While some may be thinking that this dress isn’t quite grand enough for a premiere, especially one which is opening a film festival, I have to say I love the relaxed nature of the look.

Considering the sunny location and soaring temperatures, this light-airy frock was the perfect choice.

A faux bob and turquoise-blue drop earrings completed her look.

She looks amazing. Amy has really been outdoing herself on this tour. She’s so naturally stunning.

What happened to her hair? Looks messy. Disappointing, not because it isn’t grand but because the styling leaves a lot to be desired. Butterscotch pumps, srsly? How do turquoise, white lace and pumps on a redheaded woman even relate to each other? I’m baffled.

“butterscotch pumps”, good call on the color!

Actually, I really like this look for her. To me, the turq jewelry and butterscotch pumps play well off of her red hair. Also, I love the soft femininity of her dress and hair style.

I love everything apart from the shoes. The colour is very jarring with the white.

I like the effect on the skirt and the close up. The shoes are… uh.

This is a beautiful dress, but I don’t think the “butterscotch” of the shoes is complimenting it. Nor do I like the wispiness of the faux bob. It looks messy.

I love her early Nicole Kidman vibe here. Effortless chic!!

Spot-on comparison! I see that too. And I really like this look–it’s beautiful and soft and relaxed.

Love it, everything about it. Such a relaxed and summery look.

I like this except for her hair- it just looks messy n unstyled

Love the dress. Dressed up but not too fancy. If I had her hair I would never pin it up. The shoes work for me, but only because of her coloring. Not going to work on a blonde or brunette.

The pumps are an eyesore, aren’t working here for me at all, would’ve much preferred off-white/cream. the hair could’ve been styled better, lovely and refreshing look otherwise, loving touches of turquoise.

I like only the dress (except for its length, I wish it was shorter) and the make-up!
