2013 Critics’ Choice Television Awards Round Up

2013 Critics’ Choice Television Awards Round Up 1

Here is a roundup of the rest of the attendees at the 2013 Critics’ Choice Television Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California on Monday.

Miranda Cosgrove: Embracing the summer season, the actress opted for a girlie Lela Rose lilac frock with perforations and a pleated skirt, which she styled with Jimmy Choo ‘Tali’ heels and a light-pink lip colour.

Sarah Paulson: The actress, who took home the Best Supporting Actress in a Movie or Mini-Series for ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’, wore a pretty Carolina Herrera nude lace-accented dress with a delightful pop of colour via her fuchsia-pink Casadei pumps.

Maria Menounos: The TV presenter always dresses like an A-list actress and this stunning teal Notte by Marchesa gown is no exception. A half-up, half-down bouffant and Dana Rebecca Designs jewels completed her gorgeous look.

2013 Critics’ Choice Television Awards Round Up 2

Elisabeth Moss: I look at the ‘Mad Men’ actress, who has once again returned to being blonde, and I’m just not sure. I love the colour, but somehow I feel like this RED Valentino dress makes her look boxy. Jimmy Choo ‘Award’ pumps completed her look.

Abigail Spencer: The actress wore a strapless J. Mendel Pre-Fall 2013 sweetheart-neckline gown featuring a painterly panel accented with a black patent belt, which she styled with black accessories and Jacob & Co. jewels. For someone who embraces colour all year round on the red carpet, I am surprised by her sombre choice on this occasion.

Lizzy Caplan: While I love Lizzy’s strapless orange Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2013 frock, which she styled with a Jimmy Choo ‘Cayla’ clutch and nude strappy Bionda Castana sandals, I wish the hair and makeup lived up to the vibrancy of the dress.

2013 Critics’ Choice Television Awards Round Up 3

Jennifer Carpenter: I don’t understand why someone would select a dress that makes them look so bottom heavy. I don’t find this Vera Wang dress to be particularly flattering on her.

Carrie Preston: The same thought applies to Carrie Preston. The silhouette is not flattering her curves at all.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus: The actress selected a beautiful high-neck Reem Acra Fall 2013 beaded dress, which she styled with Irene Neuwirth jewels, Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals; however, I’m distracted by her nude bra.

        How do

        “Sarah: Love everything ankles up.
Maria: I wish it was a different hairstyle. I miss sime appropriate accessories. Other than that it s amazing!”

finish on something negative? I find it a bit imposing making these kinds of judgements based on a few lines in a comment on a blog.

Thank you kane! I thought it was a fashion site and not a Court. I am honest in my opinions and I won t do fake flattery to please the others. I have posted many entirely positive comments on this site and especially yesterday, when we were really spoled with great looks.
JB and KatieKate, mind your own business.

Keep doing what you’re doing. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion and you stated yours respectfully and thoughtfully. I almost always have some small critique too! When a perfect look comes along, you and I and other commentators have no problem giving an unequivocal thumbs-up! The attacks on you have no place so don’t let them get to you. :)

        ITA. Sad-ish.

  4. Patricia June 11, 2013 at 13:55 #

I do like Jennifer Carpenter’s look. First three outfits are the best of all them aside Jennifer’s.

  5. Yeliz June 11, 2013 at 13:59 #

I like Maria Menounos and Sarah Paulson’s looks.

  6. yumey June 11, 2013 at 14:02 #

Maria Menounos looks the best and she is glowing, love love the color on her.

  7. Christine June 11, 2013 at 14:06 #

I only the top three looks on the first row.

    • Christine June 11, 2013 at 14:06 #

Like the top three looks on the first row

  8. kane June 11, 2013 at 15:06 #

Maria by far. In fact so far that she can’t even see the others anymore.

  9. Moxie June 11, 2013 at 15:16 #

Maria is my favorite, followed by Sarah. Love the pink shoes.

  10. MaddyEliza June 11, 2013 at 15:59 #

Love Maria’s look! Don’t like any of the other ones.

  11. Rebecca Z June 11, 2013 at 17:43 #

most of these are really bad–especially the bottom row. Julie Louis Dreyfus can do so much better.

  12. Dhppy June 11, 2013 at 19:52 #

Sarah Paulson is winning me the most.

  13. Cortney June 11, 2013 at 20:31 #

    Casey Wilson is my favorite.
Her dress, makeup and hair were to die for.

  14. mattison June 12, 2013 at 07:34 #

The top three plus Abigail Spencer are my favorites in the bunch. I find myself wishing Lizzy and Jennifer & Carrie and Julia had switched outfits- it might have made for a very different outcome here.

  15. EmmaWoodhouse June 14, 2013 at 16:34 #

Sarah from the ankles up–Maria if the gown didn’t cling so oddly–and Abigail with an updo…they were the closest I came to liking the offerings here. A lot is just not working for me.
