Megan Hilty In Badgley Mischka – 2013 Tony Awards

Megan Hilty In Badgley Mischka - 2013 Tony Awards

Megan Hilty delighted on the red carpet at Radio City Music Hall in New York City for the 2013 Tony Awards on Sunday evening.

That’s because she wore one of my favourite looks from the Badgley Mischka Spring 2013 collection.

Interestingly, her striped embroidered gown with a sheer skirt and embellished hem is similar in style to a number of frocks which took to the runway for Givenchy’s Fall 2013 presentation.

Megan styled her look with Giuseppe Zanotti heels, a silver Judith Leiber clutch (wish it had been gold) and David Yurman jewels.

She does look beautiful, but I would’ve liked this more, had the skirt been not sheer.

Not liking this. She looks washed out.

Ah, that skirt again. Tricky to pull off, I’m not sure if I have seen anyone nailing this yet (I keep thinking of Joan Smalls at the amfAR Gala, but when I look at it again I don’t like it enough either).

I am getting so tired of these sheer leg dresses (pattern on top, sheer legs, pattern on bottom). This is not a good look.

nice dress but nothing mind blowing.

I love this dress also, and it, too, reminded me of the Givenchy collection. I agree that it would likely look better were the bottom not sheer. But it is a gorgeous dress, nonetheless.

Wish the skirt wasn’t sheer! So sick of that trend. Then I’d like this.
