Milla Jovovich In Armani Privé – Giorgio Armani Hosts ‘One Night Only’ Roma

Milla Jovovich In Armani Privé - Giorgio Armani Hosts 'One Night Only' Roma

Milla Jovovich wasn’t firing on all cylinders during Cannes Film Festival; however, she had a chance to redeem herself at the ‘One Night Only’ Roma event hosted by Giorgio Armani in Rome, Italy on Wednesday evening.

Sadly, I find myself once again very disappointed by her effort as I not only dislike the orange halter-neck Armani Privé Spring 2013 dress with that barrel accent, but I also dislike the styling, with the focus of my disdain starting with her mumsy hair.

The only plus regarding this look is that she didn’t opt for the runway styling.

I actually like the dress (undecided on the neck trapeze), and I like everything else but the hair. Not perfect, but it gets a thumbs up from me.

I really like the dress, but the styling was horrible. This dress deserved better.

Ditto! Not loving the purse, but still like it!

i think she looks incredible! however, the shoes and the bag really let her down…

Minus the barrel accent being in an awkward position I really like the dress, I love the colour. The shoes are fine but I don’t like the purse.

A plus for her in being able to wear satin successfully, as it can be most unforgiving. The dress looks good but the cylinder thingie is just random. Maybe it is “artistic statement”, but I think it looks plain silly.

      +1. I don’t understand the cylinder either.

I too love this dress on her, it is very interesting dress. She has great body to carry this dress I couldn’t imagine who hasn’t had body like her wearing this. Taking risk and look stunning.

I really like this dress on her. Her accessories aren’t bad but her hair should have been slicker.

      + 1

    Not liking this look.

This is better than her looks at Cannes, but I’m still not loving it, especially the hair.

It’s the styling that killed this look. The shoes and bag are very dowdy. I like the continuity concept of the decorative cylinders in this collection — but they look silly and unnecessary in real life. It looks like something she should bite out of in case she gets to urge to scream… Perhaps about those hideous shoes.

This look is so dated and the dress looks cheap.
The shoes and the clutch are not working either.

    • Irina September 6, 2013 at 14:27 #

Agreed – the look does not work. Wrong shoes, wrong length. I wish she went for a more “flapper” 20th look.
