Zosia Mamet In Preen – Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013

Zosia Mamet In Preen - Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013

Making a rather festive entrance, Zosia Mamet was no wallflower at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013, hosted at Berkeley Square Gardens in London on Tuesday night.

The ‘Girls’ star, who won the International TV Actress award, wore a Preen Fall 2013 dress for the occasion.

Featuring heavy embellishment, the frock was decorated with multicoloured jewels that were shaped into floral blooms and arranged in a trellis pattern. This was a glittery garden, to say the least, but the silhouette of the dress and the waist-widening black center band left something to be desired.

While the sparkling ensemble had some fun flourish, it didn’t stand a chance with the lacklustre styling. Plain black pumps didn’t deliver the same zing as the red runway booties.

Once again the minimal makeup trend was alive and well here, except for Zosia’s overly exaggerated winged cat eye. But a bold lippie or a bit of blush would have breathed some life into this look.

I only like the dress. The shoes are boring and the hairstyle is aging her.

I don t like anything about this look. The model of the dress looks strange, the print reminds me of some Oriental carpet, and Zosia obviously doesn t feel comfortable. Her shoes and hair are even worse. On top of it, the make-up is ridiculous.

The worse part of this mess is the winged eye and the severe hair.

Comparing to what she wore in the past she looks great. Finally not messy.

    The model wore it best.

The dress is OK, a bit odd, though. Her hair and makeup are really bad.
