‘The Bling Ring’ LA Premiere

The Bling Ring LA Premiere

‘The Bling Ring’ LA premiere, held at the Directors Guild Theater in California, was hosted by Louis Vuitton and Vanity Fair on Tuesday evening.

While Emma Watson didn’t wearing Louis Vuitton, many of the other attendees did.

Sofia Coppola: The director, who is very much an LV devotee, was oozing sophistication wearing an LV Pre-Fall 2013 look which featured a patterned metallic-gold bow-accented jacket, black pants and a white shirt styled with black-and-gold wedges and an LV clutch.

Haley Bennett: Of the LV crew, following Sofia, Haley was my favourite. She wore a caramel-coloured tweed LV Fall 2013 dress with nude Chantilly lace trims. Her sensual styling perfects the look with a soft wavy faux bob, hot-pink lips and complementary accessories including LV sandals, clutch and Jacquie Aiche jewels.

Chloe Sevigny: The indie actress wore a pale-pink Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall dress with a black lace panel. I’m not sure why she travelled with the oversized blazer to the event, because she ended up just dragging it on the floor behind her the whole time; at first I thought it was the train on her mullet dress. This is what happens when you wear Fall clothes during the summer months.

Dianna Agron: Still sporting flame-red hair, the ‘Glee’ actress also selected an LV frock; I can’t say this is my favourite out of the bunch. Dianna’s red carpet repertoire is usually more fun and colourful; this feels too drab and lifeless for me.

Felicity Jones: The British actress wore an all-black LV Pre-Fall 2013 look featuring a leather bow-accented jacket, a black top and a flared floral-embossed leather mini skirt. I’m perspiring just looking at her.

Taissa Farmiga: The young actress’s blue LV Pre-Fall 2013 frock with a lace short-sleeved top was also styled with the same wedges as those worn by Sofia; her styling is already rubbing off on the stars she directs.
