Olivia Palermo In MSGM & Diane von Furstenberg – Out In New York City

Olivia Palermo In MSGM & Diane von Furstenberg - Out In New York City

Olivia Palermo was out in New York City looking traffic-stopping good wearing a delightful mix of colours with lust worthy accessories yesterday afternoon.

The main focus of her chic ensemble is her vibrant peach MSGM Spring 2013 jacquard peplum top and matching cropped pants.

It’s playful, flirty and flattering. I just love how she took the look another level with the addition of the animal print belt, Diane von Furstenberg ‘Feriha’ colourblock jacket and Tibi tri-colour sandals.

The queen of accessorizing is back in her playground, however, the raspberry Louis Vuitton tote is the only element of this look which doesn’t work for me.

Do you like the sharp contrast of the tote, or does everything else blend so well together that you can forgive the tote?

I can totally overlook the tote, because I LOVE the rest of the look.

Totally a winner sans tote and jacket.

It’s been awhile since I’ve enjoyed Olivia’s outfit choice but I like this one.

I actually love the tote. It’s such a gorgeous colour!

I like the tote with the peach..usually peach looks a lot washed out..raspberry pops it out nicely!

I am in love with this! this is what a bdotw should look like! someone who actually has a sense of style! BDOTW no one can top this but her of course.

She has a natural, effortless style. I love the apricot ensemble, jacket, shoes and belt. The colour of the tote is just one step too far, but the rest is, as you say, traffic stopping.

Like her last outfit, the bag is not working. Though, the rest of the look is great.

J´adore! Love how she breaks the three-colors-max rule. The bag still works since the basic undertone of the suit is red too. IT´s just that the size makes it stand out even more.

That bag is divine. I adore the SC totes.

Words cannot describe how much I love Olivia’s style. Her accessories are always a little unexpected, she doesn’t shy away from color, and she knows which silhouettes flatter her. She makes petite girls like me proud.

I actually dislike the jacket because of the dark blue sleeves. The tote is fine, red is cousin with orange so I don’t really mind. Anyway this is still a great look.

I love this look, but feel like it’s a little ruined by the brashness of the bag.

  18. k6wing June 3, 2013 at 01:59 #

The bag doesn’t go well with the rest of her look.

  19. Dhppy June 3, 2013 at 06:55 #

Wonderfully elegant. I think the sunglasses and shoes are wonderful with this ensemble. I go back and forth on the bag. Without the jacket it works, but with the jacket it becomes one pop of extraneous color too many.

The top should be better fitted. The tote is actually one of my favorite parts.
