Diane Kruger’s 3.1 Phillip Lim Canvas Bag

Diane Kruger Phillip Lim

As you know we are yet to experience summer here in London, so I am supremely jealous at how much skin Diane Kruger has on display, as I’m yet to put my winter coat back in the attic with June just two days away.

The German beauty was spotted out shopping for groceries at Whole Foods in LA with friends yesterday, wearing a cool summer mix including a Hawaiian-printed cool-blue-and-white cropped blouse paired with denim cut-off shorts.

Each part of her look has a stand-out feature; you can’t help but be intrigued by Diane’s effortless cool-girl flair.

I am especially drawn to her 3.1 Phillip Lim canvas bag from the Spring 2013 collection.

The bag, which is accented with dark metal corners and a removable cross-body strap, features a striking floral print which we’ve mostly seen on t-shirts via LaLa Anthony and Selena Gomez.

I only like the bag. The top and shorts are so tacky.

Behold — the “queen of Cannes” debuts trailer trash chic!

The “Daisy Dukes” are so bad. Never a good look, even for doing errands.

I hate shorts like that, this is a huge “ugh” from me.

Her off-duty style is pretty awful imo.

I can never get on board with anything crop-top related, especially not on someone over 25.

You know, I like Diane but this look has nothing to do with fashion. If someone else looked like this and they have, they would not have been mentioned as having “. . . effortless cool-girl flair.” This is something you pull out of the closet to run to the grocery. I’m not even sure she ran a comb through her hair.

      So true!
Dressing like the worst examples at your local discount store is never trashy, sloppy, or faddish if you are rich and famous. And if you’re Diane Kruger, it’s “edgy,” “effortless,” and “chic!”

      (I am a big fan of Diane,BTW.)

Hate the outfit. Love the bag.

Like the outfit. Like the bag. Don’t like the outfit with the bag.

Never realized before that she is a little knock-kneed. She looks cute, but I don’t really like the bag.

Like her effortless style. So chic!

I love the bag. And I’m jealous of how much skin she shows too, it’s still freezing here in Germany as well 🙁

I don’t like anything about this look : the print and the cut of the bag, the cropped blouse and the denim cut-off way too short.

      I agree.

+3, especially those shorts. Hate. Them. On. Everyone. Trailer park, low rent. The bag is hideous, detest the blowsy print.

Don’t be a slave to trashy 20 something trends. Cut the pockets! (That goes for you too, Gwyneth)
