Marion Cotillard In Alexander McQueen – Crash Magazine Cocktail Party

Marion Cotillard In Alexander McQueen - Crash Magazine Cocktail Party

Marion Cotillard attended the Crash Magazine cocktail party during Cannes Film Festival on Friday evening.

She didn’t wear Dior; instead she selected an Alexander McQueen strapless jumpsuit from the Resort 2013 collection, which she styled with navy glitter pumps.

I love the mirrored hummingbird and floral print, but I’m not sure I love what this look is doing to her legs. A more streamlined look would’ve been preferred.

Exactly! WHY this horrible look? The fabric is so beautiful, but the silhouette is horrendous!

This is her second time wearing McQueen at the festival. But this look is not working, even though its nice to see her stepping outside her comfort zone.

Sorry to dissent, but in the words of Icona Pop, ‘I don’t care! I love it, I love it’!!

Gorgeous print and gorgeous woman, but even together they cannot make a success of this clown like silhouette. Her fantastic legs are made to look short and stumpy by the unflattering cut. Not one of her best looks.

My problem is with the styling – the jumpsuit is out there but needed appropriately avant-garde styling, by trying to dumb it down with simple pumps, no jewellery and the same hairstyle she wore with her gown last night it just looks like she is uncomfortable with the whole thing – why bother?

I agree. She always dulls down her Alexander McQueen looks (she did the same thing with the white dress from the photocall). She should just look for other designers imo. Not Dior ofc lol.

Not transferring very well out of the lookbook unfortunately. The harem-like pants aren’t really working on Marion.
