‘The Immigrant’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Round Up

Premiere Round Up 1

Here is a quick round up of the rest of the attendees from tonight’s Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘The Immigrant’ held at Palais des Festivals in France.

Karlie Kloss: While this dove grey feather festooned Louis Vuitton look is an improvement on yesterday, her fellow models have left her in the shade by embracing what this festival is all about: OTT gowns.

Izabel Goulart: Now this is more like it. Izabel rocked a black strapless Emilio Pucci gown as Peter Dundas and god intended. Thigh-high slit, check, OTT jewels, check, glamorous bouffant, check. Izabel gets more than a pass.

Bianca Balti: I desperately wanted to love Bianca’s vibrant hued Chanel Couture dress, just for the colour and uniqueness alone, but between the painfully awkward length and black pumps, this is a reluctant no from me.

Premiere Round Up 2

Isabeli Fontana: This white Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2013 jumpsuit with a train draped from the shoulder could’ve worked, had the pants been tailored so they didn’t drag on the floor. This is still my bug-bear on the red carpet, after black pumps of course.

Eugenia Silva: I would love to give Eugenia a pass, but this tent-like sheer Dolce & Gabbana maternity-esqe gown isn’t doing it for me. Being sheer doesn’t make it sexy.

Juno Temple: There’s something about the metallic look which I was instantly drawn to, but the extreme kohl-rimmed eyes and black clutch took it from an 8 to a 5.5.
