Portia de Rossi In Roksanda Ilincic – Los Angeles Confidential Magazine May/June Cover Party

Portia de Rossi In Roksanda Ilincic - Los Angeles Confidential Magazine May June Cover Party

Portia de Rossi attended the unveiling of her Los Angeles Confidential Magazine May/June cover, held at Palihouse in West Hollywood, California yesterday.

The actress wore a Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2013 dress.

Her royal-blue frock with contrasting orange cuffs also featured a cut-out waist.

Celebs are all about showing off their midriffs these days; Portia is just one of many, including Diane Kruger and Naya Rivera, to work this look.

Portia’s colourful look was styled with neutral nude pumps which don’t upstage her beautiful, vibrant dress.

Agreed! It doesn’t make sense to add a neutral to a dress that’s all about contrast. I don’t like the model’s shoe either. How about the same style pump as those nudes but in, say, a light neon blue?

Not working. I don’t like the blue and orange or the cutout. It’s all awkward.

I like this dress, but it’s a little little loose on the skirt. The styling is nice, but I’m not a fan of her short hair. It ages Portia.

Modern & classy ensemble – except for the cut out. Waist Cut outs are tacky and awkward. Those who wear them at public events look like they are trying to hard to get attention. Often, the cut-out interrupts the figure of the woman. They have ruined any outfit they have been on thus far. Regarding her hair: I like it! It’s modern and shows of her bone structure. It goes with her outfit – except for the nude pump; yes, I agree…the nude pumps are boring for such a colourful dress.

Agree completely. It flows better, the sleeves fit better and not least do I love the (blue? please let them be blue!) t strap sandals.

I like this look. It is simple but the contrasting colours and cut out ramp it up a notch. The shoes are bland but they are ok.
