Thandie Newton In Stella McCartney – Jimmy Choo ‘The Season’ Dinner Party

Thandie Newton In Stella McCartney - Jimmy Choo 'The Season' Dinner Party

On Monday evening, Thandie Newton hosted a dinner party at the Clifton Nurseries in London with Jimmy Choo’s creative director Sandra Choi to celebrate the Jimmy Choo pre-fall collection entitled ‘The Season’.

The British beauty wore an ice-blue metallic shift dress with bell sleeves from the Stella McCartney Autumn collection, which was the perfect party piece for a cold British summer evening.

Adding yet more ice to her look, Thandie’s Choos of choice included the Jimmy Choo ‘Freya’ sandals with diamante detailing and a small Jimmy Choo metallic-silver ‘Tube’ clutch.

Solange Azagury-Partridge jewels and a simple ponytail completed her look.

Stunning as ever and still yet to look a day over 25.

You can buy Thandie’s Jimmy Choo ‘Freya’ sandals from Jimmy Choo US and Jimmy Choo UK.

I love this (if with a little less love for the make up)!

Not really loving the dress itself, but the overall look is great.

I need to determine what her skin care regimen is… She is ageless and stunning! I can’t think of a time when I haven’t loved what she’s been wearing and how she’s styled her looks.

I really like this on her.

I really like everything about this look. It reminds me of a dress style of Jackie Kennedys back in the 60′s.

I’m sorry, I don’t like this look at all. She looks beautiful and ageless as always, but I don’t the dress, and specially the shoes! They don’t go together. And also, those diamonds or whatever make the shoes look tacky and unnecessary.

Gorgeous. Simple elegance. I love the shoes. Perfect hair and makeup. Sigh…

I like the fabric… And I like the mod style of the dress… But the fit of this thing is terrible! Look at all that bunching around the armpits and the collarbones, and the weird vertical wrinkles in the abdominal area… Whoever ordered this fabric to be sewed into this pattern has no understanding of the relationship between fabric and fit. Stella is a fraud. She is the tailor in the Emperor’s New Clothes.

The shoes are great, they bring the elegance to redeem this look on beautiful Thandie.

Thandie makes this work. I love the shimmer and the color of the dress, the style could have gone wrong but she looks great. The shoes also work despite skirting a difficult edge that similar styles often fail at.

Just perfect! I especially love the dress and the hair! There is something from the 70s about them.

Shoes aren’t perfect, but everything else is!
