Jessica Chastain In Givenchy – Bulgari Hosts ‘Cleopatra’ Cocktail

Jessica Chastain In Givenchy - Bulgari Hosts 'Cleopatra' Cocktail

Following her Best Dressed of The Day look in Versace Collection for the ‘Cleopatra’ Cannes Film Festival premiere, where she wore a stunning necklace from the Elizabeth Taylor Bulgari Collection, Jessica Chastain attended a party hosted by Bulgari at the Hotel Marriott in Cannes, France yesterday evening.

Opting for white once again, the beautiful actress wore a Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci Spring 2014 crepe-de-chine gown with satin cut-outs and a plunging neckline.

On this occasion her jewel choice was a subtle emerald ring which stands out against the white backdrop of her gorgeous gown, and an emerald brooch accenting her flame-coloured locks.

She is such a class act. I love how elegant she always looks. I hope one day she is on the jury for Cannes so we can get to see this kind of magic for 12 days straight.

Tisci really needed this after…well…you know.

This dress is completely appropriate for a “Cleopatra” party..clean and stunning white gown

I am rendered speechless by the beauty and perfection of this!

Love the hair and makeup, love the ring, love the silhouette of the gown. However, I wish there was more to it. It’s too plain and I’m not a fan of the neckline.

She looks so elegant and classy and beautiful. I love it and her. 🙂

Omg she is Radiant!!! Everything’s perfect, top to toe. She makes a strong statement even with such a simple dress which deserves major kudos.

This is truly special. She looks just amazing. The dress is perfect, fits her well, her hair and makeup are just exactly right. And the jewelry–spectacular. This might be the very best of Cannes.

FC I have read the word ‘goosebumps’ a few times in your reviews of stunning red carpet turns by women here and have wondered what it would be to feel it myself, literally and I felt my hairs stand up looking at the picture of her brooch- and the gown, and her persona here- she’s mindblowingly beautiful here. what a knock out

    • Catherine Kallon May 22, 2013 at 17:22 #

      yes, she looks that good.

  9. Derro May 22, 2013 at 16:27 #

Totally plain and boring. She is a fantastic actor but her red carpet style almost always disappoints.

Simply beautiful and elegant. I love the hairstyle with that piece of jewelry. I would have liked a simple necklace or maybe a bracelet, but I don’t mind. I also love the make up.

Who keeps telling her that white/neutrals look good on her? And why does she keep listening? Does she never look in mirrors?

I love this. I greatly prefer it to the Versace. It has a lighter, more graceful air and the use of jewels is more artistically pleasing to me.

I think the combination of feminine softness and simplicity works beautifully for her.

I LOVE this, so soft and feminine, def. MUCH better than her Versace which was more matronly than regal.

  13. Moxie May 22, 2013 at 15:20 #

I wouldn’t wear a long white gown to a cocktail party, but I think she looks great.

  14. kane May 22, 2013 at 15:07 #

Awww, she proves she can wear white after all! I love this so much more than the Versace yesterday, I can’t even say!

  15. Lisa May 22, 2013 at 14:57 #

She looks very nice, but it is not a wow for me. I try to keep up with everything that is posted here, but can someone explain why Tisci “needed this” – I don’t know why?!?!

  16. LOLA May 22, 2013 at 14:18 #

    Spring 2014? It’s beyond fast 🙂

    • Petra May 22, 2013 at 15:54 #

I was going to ask the same thing! I mean, resort is not even shown yet!

  17. dee May 22, 2013 at 13:25 #

She looks lovely. Her hair brooch is fabulous. But I think she looks too plain. She needs some stud earrings.

I am such a Jessica fangirl, so this is just so lovely to me. I love the emerald ring and hair accessory

  20. justme May 22, 2013 at 12:48 #

She looks divine from the neck up. I especially love the way she styled her hair.
The dress is way too plain though.

  21. TeuntjeVDW May 22, 2013 at 12:23 #

Wow, I’m blown away! She looks so elegant! Tisci really needed this indeed.

  22. Ariel May 22, 2013 at 12:22 #

Classic like a Greek statue, but I agree with Nat, it s too simple.

    • Denise May 22, 2013 at 12:56 #

Greek statues are simple but define timeless beauty as does Ms Chastain in this breathtaking gown.

      • Christine May 22, 2013 at 14:13 #

        Plain white dress to me.

        • Prudence May 22, 2013 at 16:16 #

aha yeah, nothing exceptional happening here. I cannot even believe such a plain dress was made by him.

  23. Nat May 22, 2013 at 12:15 #

    Too simple.

  24. Yiota May 22, 2013 at 11:53 #

  25. Yeliz May 22, 2013 at 11:52 #

Yep, Tisci really needed this. She looks absolutely stunning and so elegant. Love it.

  26. Lynnette Lai May 22, 2013 at 11:50 #

Oh I love this whole look. Whoever who did Jessica’s hair and make up on this occasion hit the nail on the head. She looks young, beautiful and elegant and not matronly, loving the simple elegance of this look. The hair brooch/comb is also gorgeous against her beautiful red.

  27. Angie May 22, 2013 at 11:45 #

Love this look! So classy and refined!

“Tisci really needed this after…well…you know.” This made me laugh so hard lol.

Btw I hope it’s the Elizabeth Taylor Bvlgari Collection and not the Elizabeth Hurley one as it says in the post
