Fan Bingbing In Valentino – The Hollywood Reporter and Jimmy Choo Honor Fan Bingbing

Fan Bingbing In Valentino - The Hollywood Reporter and Jimmy Choo Honor Fan Bingbing

The Hollywood Reporter hosted a party along with Jimmy Choo and Mouton Cadet at the Grand Hyatt Cannes Hotel Martinez in honour of the lovely Fan Bingbing on Saturday.

The star of the upcoming ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ was named International Artist of the Year.

Many of you will be delighted to see that she’s not wearing another Elie Saab embellished gown.

On this occasion she wore a Valentino Resort 2013 gown.

The colourful floral gown with an illusion yoke and sleeves is one of the gowns I had hoped to see on the red carpet, but with the Resort 2014 collection being presented I thought this gown would never see the light of day.

Bingbing continues her love affair with the braided updo, adding Chopard jewels to complete her look.

    Oh joy, more ugly Valentino.

  • Liz

I was wondering who would wear this dress. I’m glad it was Fan Bingbing.

  • june4

nice barbie-doll look if it’s without her earrings

  • Moxie

Not my favorite dress, but she is working it.

  • Nat

I didn’t like in the model and didn’t like on her.

  • Mandy

I really hate it when pink is paired with red so those earrings and nails need to go. I think she looks nice, would have loved to have seen this dress on elle fanning.

  • Rebecca Z

International Artist of the Year? Really?

I really don’t like this dress–I agree with Iola that it is way too sweet for an adult woman to wear. She looks like a little doll–let’s put her away and move on.

    • Kingsley

She leads Forbes chinese top celebs list, most expensive movie star in Asia .get her means get asian market. Lol

  • dee

Didn’t really care for this gown on the model but this looks delightful on Fan.

  • EmmaWoodhouse

G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S! I am NOT at all tired of Fan’s delightful gowns–she looks like a dream!!! Beautiful, beautiful dress and she pulls it off amazingly without looking too sweet. BDOTD, BDOTW.

  • Ramsay

Fashion bulimia this is what this woman has – every single day a gown or two – and each bigger, larger more attention seeking than the other – a sparkly, couture dress even for a photo call – I have to say I strongly dislike her approach…

    • lola

      + 1 … seems a bit OTTon every occasion…

    • mg

this is not a photocall. it’s a party in honor of her. why not wear a big gown?

  • Angel

I’ve never thought that any celebrity would look good in this bucause it is not a normal red carpet style gown. But Fan really looks stunning and brings out the best of the gown. She is like a floral fairy coming out of the fairy tales.

  • Denise

That’s a refreshing change ! She looks delicate and pretty.

  • Alicat

This is a standout gown. The floral fabric is not an obvious choice for a gown such as this, but it really works. I love the sprinkling of flowers down the sleeves. It is different and thank goodness for that. Just beautiful.

  • lola

She looks like she raided a candy store….wayyy too sugary sweet – and totally uninteresting…

    • + 1.

    • DSI

      +1 having a toothache! uninspiring!

    • kane

Haha, love the comment–the dress not so much.

  • KellyK

Congs to Fan! Definitely love this look!

  • Yeliz

When I saw this gown, I thought it’s something which would only suit to a teen star. But Fan pulls this off amazingly. Some would say that this is too sugary sweet, but I think she looks gorgeous. The braided updo works wonderfully with this gown. I love it.

    • Christine

She finally hit it out of the park! Gorgeous.

  • Natalie

Absolutely BREATHTAKING. it’s been boring the past two days without her and without her showing up in the polls.

    • Jess2

+1! I concur, she looks 10 times better than the model. My love deepens!
