Liya Kebede In Roberto Cavalli – ‘Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy Of A Plains Indian)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Liya Kebede In Roberto Cavalli - 'Jimmy P (Psychotherapy Of A Plains Indian)' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Just when I thought I was over heavily embellished gowns at Cannes Film Festival, Liya Kebede tingled my senses as she took to the red carpet at the Grand Théâtre Lumière in France for the ‘Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian)’ premiere this evening.

The model, who has been most consistent at Cannes, wore a Roberto Cavalli Fall 2013 gown.

On a cold and rainy night, she wisely opted for a long-sleeve suede and chiffon gown embroidered with Swarovski crystals with added bedazzlement courtesy of her Boucheron ‘Ava’ earrings and ‘Serpent Boheme’ ring.

A black clutch, barely there – because let’s face it she doesn’t need it – makeup and wavy tresses completed her look.

A bit too heavy and fall-like, the darkness of the look is overwhelming. But it’s a gorgeous gown and she is beautiful.

I’m not a fan of most of the Cavalli gowns, but this one is actually beautiful. Her simple styling works, she looks gorgeous.

Ha! That’s what I was thinking. Cavalli? But… it’s so tasteful.

Absolutely gorgeous! She looks so perfect and it’s so rainy that I can forgive the too wintry gown.

If the skirt was lined, I’d love it. The bodice is super cool and she’s gorgeous.

I don’t know…..I am trying to understand this dress. I don’t know what Roberto Cavalli was trying to do with this design.

Gorgeous! Looks even better than the model!

I dislike this look, but that isn’t Liya’s fault. I find this dress so unflattered to the bust and it just looks so shapeless, even on the model. Darkness is often offset by color or showing some skin, but Liya’s dress is so overwhelming black. At least she tried.

It’s really gorgeous. I almost made me forget about her multi-tiered contraption from yesterday.

A bit heavy, but I like it.
