Chloe Sevigny In Rodarte – ABSOLUT Elyx Launch

Chloe Sevigny In Rodarte - ABSOLUT Elyx Launch

Chloe Sevigny attended the ABSOLUT Elyx launch in New York City on Monday evening.

It’s been a long while since we last saw Chloe in Rodarte – you have to go back to January 2011 – however, the indie actress wore a head-to-toe look from the brands Fall 2013 collection on this occasion.

Her part-black, part-printed acid wash silk satin dress featuring a draped shoulder and asymmetrical lines was styled with a barbed wire headband, bracelet and necklace plus black leather and suede booties with grommet accents.

I love the barbed wire accessories; she manages to pull them off without making them look gimmicky. I don’t think this is a feat many others could’ve pulled off so effortlessly.

While Chloe has been frustratingly inconsistent on occasion, there is a lot going here I like, even if it is just ripped from the runway.

This is an interesting look. I like it on her because it is more in keeping with her natural, quirky style. Lately she has been wearing some bland, ageing outfits. This is a much more youthful look.

there is something about her specifically that like sucks the goodness out of clothes. Like I loved this collection and could not wait to see it worn but here I am not loving it at all, it seems so blah…she has like no energy and it wrecks everything.

I would’ve love this on her if she wore the runway version. Because from what I see, Chloe’s skirt is diagonal while the runway version is straight. That said, I love her style. :)

Jesus, what happened to her? Another bad look, and she looks so tired. Hair, makeup? This is so wrong.

Im sorry but this girl… she just constantly looks tired out, like some stoner chick that didnt realize she was going to a major event until an hour before. This look annoys me so much, granted that it shouldve never been made, but then someone out there has to think that it looks good? It looks like someone who almost got her dress on over her work out gear.
