Chloe Sevigny In Christopher Kane – A&E Networks Upfront

Chloe Sevigny In Christopher Kane - A&E Networks Upfront

Chloe Sevigny, who was one of the many disappointing attendees at the 2013 Met Gala, took to the red carpet yesterday evening for the A&E Networks Upfront event held at the Lincoln Center in New York City.

On this occasion, she opted for a white Christopher Kane Spring 2013 dress.

Her neatly constructed white wool crepe square-neck dress, featuring a slightly fitted waist, front-panel folded detail, hip front side slits and bolt accent, made me take notice on the runway, but it falls flat on Chloe, especially when styled with those black ankle-strap pumps.

A little while back I was happy that she appeared to have rediscovered her mojo, but it appears to have gone M.I.A. again, judging by this boxy look.

So chic, sexy and figure-flattering on the model, so blah and dull on Chloe – shoes, hair, not much of a shape, lack of presence…she is not selling it.

It’s not really flattering, but she looks decent after all disappointments lately. Hairstyle is OK, make up should be better.
She needs a radical change of her style, i miss the old Chloe.

The dress is not working on Chloe and the shoes don’t work either.

    She definitely lost her spark.

The concept is interesting but I dislike that open pouch in the front and the shoe color is bad. Should’ve picked a neon color.

I loved this dress on the model, but on Chloe it just looks dull and unflattering.

It looks like a completely different dress to that worn by the model. She used to be so individual and brave in her style choices. She has become bland and stereotypically middle aged.

when will people realize that white garments need not b just paired with uninspiring black, white or nude shoes? there r so many many many more interesting shoes around. what can b better than a clean palette such as white to make the shoe the hero of the look? sigh! i thought chloe at least would understand that.

No. A totally unflattering, poorly styled, and unimaginative choice. Not impressd.
