Solange Knowles In Jill Stuart - ‘The Great Gatsby’ Pre-Met Ball Special Screening

Solange Knowles joined Emma Roberts and Carey Mulligan for the special Pre-Met Ball screening of ‘The Great Gatsby’, held at the Museum of Metropolitan Art in New York City on Sunday.

The singer doesn’t often invite the girls out to play, but they were front and center on this occasion.

What is surprising is that her Jill Stuart Fall 2013 striped long-sleeve peplum dress was very demure on the runway, however, Solange opened up the neckline to reveal a dramatic plunge.

Never one to disappoint on the shoe front, Solange wore Burberry Prorsum ‘Crayford’ bright red wedges and styled the rest of her look with a selection of rings and her trademark fro’.

I pity the fool who sat behind her for this screening.

Something between zipped up to the neck and open to the solar plexus would have served this look better in my opinion. She is a beautiful woman, but I don’t need to see her entire cleavage. The shoes looks pretty on her from the front, but I have to say I think they are pretty ugly from the side.

The deep plunge version on Solange doesn’t look good – it cheapens the look and ruins the graphics of the dress. From the neck up she is gorgeous, and I appreciate the vibrant shoe choice, although not too keen on the style of the shoe. Not loving this look.

Not liking the plunging neckline and her hair. I like the pop of red, but not really the shoes itself.

The neckline is too exposed for me and I like the colour pop from the shoes and they look better on but they are quite unattractive.

Like the makeup and hair but Not loving the whole look or most of her fashion choices as of late it has been off. She is becoming boring and loosing her edge. The cleavage cheapens the dress as most of you pointed out and the shoe choice is wrong with that dress. Great shoes though.
