Many other royals joined Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned of Qatar to watch the water pageant to celebrate the inauguration of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands after the abdication of his mother Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Princess Mabel of Orange-Nassau: The princess was three for three when it came to her designer of choice: Viktor & Rolf. Her dual-colour white-and-pink gown from the designers’ Spring 2013 collection featured yet another bow, this time at the waist. If this dress feels familiar, it’s because US Marie Claire editor Zanna Roberts Rassi wore it during E’s pre-Oscar red carpet coverage.
Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden: Aside from her first Elie Saab purple number, the princess has stuck to a fairly neutral colour palette. On this occasion, she added a cropped fur jacket to a dazzling gold gown styled with metallic-gold pumps and a matching clutch.
Crown Princess Mary of Denmark: Standing out in red, the princess wore a red Jesper Høvring long-sleeved gown with a beautiful tiered skirt. Ruby Parure earrings and a bouffant updo completed her look. This gown is a repeat; the princess first wore it during her wedding celebrations back in 2012.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway: A mint-green gown capped Princess Mette-Marit’s trio of looks this week. The Valentino gown was clearly the stand-out piece, but I prefer her Giambattista Valli and this ethereal gown.
