Alice Eve In Ermanno Scervino – ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ London Premiere

Alice Eve In Ermanno Scervino - 'Star Trek Into Darkness' London Premiere

Many of us had written off Alice Eve for the ‘Star Trek Into the Darkness’ promo tour (once again I include myself) because we were so focused on Zoe Saldana.

Alice was serving plenty of sass appeal on the red carpet for the London premiere this evening.

Possibly taking on your feedback that you didn’t like her bangs, she swept her hair back into a chic bun while wearing an Ermanno Scervino Pre-Fall 2013 suede taupe strapless dress.

This isn’t a designer we often on the red carpet, however the results are always spectacular – case-in-point and see Gemma Arterton.

Alice’s styling which includes dual colour sandals and a black waistband evaluates the look ten-fold the one note runway look.

I don’t know if the new attitude is due to the new do, a new stylist or not wanting to play second fiddle to Zoe, but whatever is possessing Alice right now, I love it.

At first glance, I thought this look is boring, but the more I look at it, the more I like this simple, sleek look. Maybe not a BDOTW contender, but still beautiful.

This is a very simple look, and normally I’d probably say that it’s a bit too dull and plain but it comes to life on Alice, she looks so sexy and confident and really working this look, the dress sits a tad low at the bust but it emphasizes her curves beautifully, and her styling is on point – the addition of black elements saves the look from being bland and her simple hairstyle and makeup are flawless. Thumbs up from me.

Meh, she does bring this look to its full potential with the great styling. However, I don’t see any “wow” factor from the look itself. This is perfect for a photo call, not a big premiere.
She’s not standing toe to toe with Zoe on this occasion, sadly.

I agree. This is not exciting enough for me.

    • justme May 2, 2013 at 21:28 #

Exactly. This is definitely photcall material.

    • TeaAtTwo May 2, 2013 at 23:20 #

I agree, for a photocall or a screening this would be amazing but it’s just ok for a big budget premiere.

I actually prefer her look to Zoe’s.

  5. Amanda May 2, 2013 at 21:11 #

Underwhelming. I wasn’t expecting anything great from her but good God.

The dress desperately needed to be shortened, since paired with the ankle-strap pumps it makes her legs look stumpy. I like the addition of the black belt, but she’s missing a brighter lip.

I have to agree with those who think this look is a bit boring for a premiere. I mean, a taupe, knee-length dress -sigh-

She looks heavenly from the neck up though. I’m happy to see her without the bangs hiding her face.

    Looks nice but not wow

  9. kane May 2, 2013 at 22:49 #

Liking this very much although it fails to wow me. Only no. 2 that night, but the competition was insane, indeed.

  10. Christine May 2, 2013 at 23:23 #

She looks nice but Zoe is beating her at this promo tour.

  11. Raquel May 3, 2013 at 02:30 #

Ok look for one of the guests, not for one of the stars.

  12. bee7 May 3, 2013 at 03:35 #

    Love her attitude.

i love this look head to toe! its flawless and with someone like zoe around she holds her own in this. love the attitude. i like and for a london premiere, it’s perfect! i always associate london premiere of any film with sleekly tailored minimalist outfits and this one does my sensibility a whole lot of justice.

I do like the sleek silhouette of this look and the fawn and black color combo, but the fact that it’s so simple makes it a bit blah for a premiere. Also, it’s sitting too low on the bust, and finally, I’m not enthused with what seems to be the worn-suede like texture of the dress. It’s an OK look but I’m not wowed.

I don’t get the excitement…shes wearing a STRAPLESS NUDE DRESS (can we get anymore boring)and yes the shoes arent aweful…this outfit is very unspectacular. She needs to let Zoe help her because she is being crushed in this promo tour.
