Queen Máxima of the Netherlands In Jan Taminiau – Inauguration Of King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands Water Pageant

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima boarded the king’s boat for the water pageant to celebrate the inauguration of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands after the abdication of his mother Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands in Amsterdam, Netherlands on Monday.

This event capped a day of high fashion we don’t usually see unless it’s the Oscars, Cannes or the Met Gala.

Máxima was the epitome of elegance once again, wearing yet another custom made piece by Dutch-born designer, Jan Taminiau.

She opted to add a camel cape and burgundy shawl to her burgundy-and-nude lace gown due to the backless and off-the-shoulder nature of the dress, plus counter the cold breeze from being on the boat.

Opting to go sans tiara, she did style her look with a selection of subtle dazzling jewels.
