Julianne Moore In Alexander McQueen – ‘The English Teacher’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Julianne Moore In Alexander McQueen - 'The English Teacher' Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Julianne Moore attended the world premiere of ‘The English Teacher’ during the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival on Friday in New York City.

The actress opted for a beautiful Alexander McQueen long-sleeved frock in a bold purple hue with a frilled hemline, which she styled with black accessories.

They of course included an Alexander McQueen skull-clasp clutch, with black Narciso Rodriguez banded slingback wedges adding an edge and a green ring providing an additional pop of colour.

Her styling of this look was impeccable. Anything more would’ve been overkill.

The shoes are ugly, except that she is beautiful.

I love everything from the ankles up, those shoes are too heavy. I am not a fan of the heavy shootie/dress trend that is going on.

I don’t look this good now, and I’m a long way off being 52. She’s pretty amazing.

She looks amazing, her skin is luminous. When I factor in her age I appreciate her style choice more. It’s more fun and experimental but with a classic approach than competing with 20-somethings to be the sexiest woman in room like some older celebs do. I love the colour, sleeves and the hem of this dress. I’m glad the wedges are open-toe.

If I ignore the heaviness of the shoes, she looks stunning. Gorgeous hair and makeup.

  6. Lyvm April 30, 2013 at 13:23 #

She looks wonderful. The pop of color, the edgy shoes, simple yet a statement maker. And how in the world does she manage to look like this at her age! Amazing, gorgeous.

I am normally not very enthused about her style, but I LOVE this look!! The dress is gorgeous on her. The shoes aren’t my style but the rest is good.
