Natalie Dormer In Marios Schwab – 2013 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner

Natalie Dormer In Marios Schwab - 2013 White House Correspondents' AssociationOur ‘Game of Thrones’ girl, Natalie Dormer, walked the red carpet with ‘Cosmopolitan’ editor-in-chief Joanna Coles at the 2013 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner at the Washington Hilton last night in Washington, D.C.

The British actress wore a Marios Schwab Fall 2011 gown that featured pearl-studded, geometric embellishment at the bodice.

Since she removed the runway’s waist-cinching, harness-inspired belt, the most interesting part of this look actually came to me in the gorgeous emerald Elahn bauble on her finger.

She accessorized further with a black and silver Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch and a simple pair of earring studs.

A nude lippie and half-up, half-down hair completed the look, although on this occasion, I wish she had worn her hair all up for a more polished, edgy effect.

I like this simple, classy look and actually prefer it sans belt. I agree that having her hair up would have suited the cool style of this dress.

I don’t mind her hair actually, I’m glad that it’s not all down. I really like this chic look.

I actually really like her hairstyle.

I like this look. It works.

I like her hairstyle, actually, but the dress sans belt is rather shapeless and dull.

She needs to knock off the pursed duck lip pose. I looked at the Getty Image gallery and she’s doing it in all of the photos.

That’s just how she looks. Watch a few episodes of The Tudors where she plays Anne Boleyn and you’ll see.

She looks quietly chic. I don’t think the runway belt would have been smart enough for the occasion but another simple belt could have been added.

    Pretty dress–looks lovely on her.

    Oh my, that ring!

She looks nice from the waist up. I’d have prefered pink lips, though.

I actually really like this dress. The detail on the bodice keeps it from being boring

It is ok. Nothing that will stay on my memory longer than 10 min.

    Elegant but not memorable.
